Straight, and to the point!. I was recommended this place by a coworker. The ambiance is retro, but not flashy. Their menu is small, but they will make you an impressive onion burger. They are fairly priced with great service, and the burgers can definitely compete with the more popular Tucker's. I love the addition of adding your own condiments (lettuce, tomato, relish, jalapeños, sauces).
I will definitely attend again.
Dan's remains one of OKC's most awesome places for a great Onion Burger!! Seasoned just right and stacked with wonderful sweet onions!! Great burger!!
If you want a tasty old school burger this is the place for you. Hands down the best onion burger I've ever had!! Discovered this place via Urbanspoon and I am looking forward to many return visits to this place!
Good, consistent and inexpensive. Every time I have been to Dan's, the good is very good. They always give you lost of fries, and the burgers are very well prepared.

Fantastic burgers and REAL fresh-cut fries. Not much else, but what they do they do extremely well. Great place for those who love old Coke memorabilia too.

Good old fashioned burgers. I finally got around to eating here last week. I had been seeing it for years. I wish I had gotten around to trying it earlier. The Burgers are good and the fries are great too. This is an old fashioned American burger joint, certainly not diet friendly (lots of fried food) but wonderful comfort food. The staff was very friendly as well. I happly recommend it.
The onion burgers are fantastic and you can dress it up how you like at veggie/condiment bar. What's better than the food? The rockstars that work there. They treated me like family and when they found out it was my first time, they welcomed me to return since I'd know how fabulous it is. They told me I must try the fried pickles. They weren't wrong ❤️ It's a nostalgic place. Stop in and enjoy!
I really like this place. The people were very friendly and I like the atmosphere which is old collectible Coca-Cola stuff. If you're there by yourself I should just go in with the petite french fries as I got the small which was actually a large I would hate to see what a large is. The burger was cooked very well. These are Onion burgers which means they have grilled onions cooked onto the top of the patty. It was pretty good but the prize were the hit they were amazing. Also pellet ice if you're into that sort of thing.
Cute little diner with a 50's theme atmosphere. They flat grill their burgers and have a separate area for you to dress your own burger with ketchup, pickles, jalapeños, etc.
There are different size burgers, I got the smallest size with a small fry and a regular drink and it was eleven dollars and some change.
The burger was well seasoned and tasted great! My fries were a little soggy, but still good. They reminded me of the fries my Grandma used to make for me as a kid.
We got there right before the lunch rush so it was quiet, but right about noon the line was backed up to the door!
I would recommend trying this place if you haven't!
Happened by here while looking for a different restaurant and ended up going up here instead and glad we did.
The menu is very limited, however, it's worth the try. The three people working there were very busy with the entire restaurant packed to the gills. So be nice when you show up and there is a small wait because it will be worth it.
We all opted for the original onion burger, with a side of fries and onion rings. The burgers themselves were fantastic. I love a juicy burger that runs down your arm as you are trying to eat it. They offer several choices of cheese if you want that and they offer a toppings bar once your burger is done so you can doctor it up any way you like.
I love onion rings, but can't stand the taste of beer and unfortunately for me the onion rings are dipped in a beer batter. The rest of the family loved them and the were fresh, not frozen. Fries, how do I love them 😋. There is nothing better then fresh cut fries! So good!

The double Dan with cheese is awesome, not to mention the huge basket of fries you get. Prices are very reasonable, atmosphere is that of a 50s diner. Have eaten there several times and will be back several more
This place is amazingly awesome! It was my first time here today. The food is fresh and great tasting, but what really sets this restaurant apart is the vintage Coca-Cola antiques and all the other vintage materials inside. It's a great look at all the history throughout time. I'll be going back again. It's a classy little environment.
Discovered the best burger I've had in Oklahoma so far. Went to Dan's Ol Time Diner for a quick lunch. Was up in the city and used Google to find what was nearby. We found the jackpot!
They have fresh, never frozen burgers and by default they come with grilled onions. You can still ask for no onions if that isn't your thing. The fries are fresh cut and delicious. If you are in the Moore/OKC area you should definitely check it out.

Love the option to apply your own veggies. French fries are enough for two. Grilled onions burgers are the bomb. Great greasy spoon.
The Best Old Fashioned Flat-grill onion burgers and fresh cut French fries around, at reasonable prices! The atmosphere is family-friendly, with Coca-Cola paraphernalia proudly displayed throughout the entire restaurant. I've been going there for 20 plus years and I don't know that I've ever been disappointed!
Excellent 1/3 lb onion bacon cheeseburger. Great flavors. Hanging off the bun. Cheese Fries were awesome too. Old Fashion Onion burger was Messy and Amazing. Great taste and lots of Coca Cola stuff to see.
