The food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. We had a party of 6 so we ordered several different items between us, giving us a variety of items to sample. EVERYTHING was delicious. From the biscuits and gravy, to the chicken fried steak, breakfast tacos, chicken and waffles, and French toast, our entire party was blown away. And the bacon... all the noms. We will absolutely be back.
If there's any small critique, it's that the place is very small. This could be considered by some time be a plus. We actually dined in the enclosed patio area, and enjoyed great weather and natural light.
Bartender is the best I've had hands down. Funny and down to earth. She also had a few recommendations for other brunch places that she likes in the city which my wife and I loved since we're new around here.

Love this place. The drink list is awesome and they have the best old fashioned in town. And the food has greatly improved since they opened.
We came in on Friday night, it was hard to fine due to the trolley construction which I hope is very close to being done. The food was great my husband ordered permit to cheese BLT and I ordered the chicken fried steak which I would say it was probably one of the best in town. I ordered several drinks which I must say I cannot get prepared correctly anywhere else in town, that includes a Singapore sling and a pink squirrel and several other drinks that were magnificently prepared. Anything else I would just come back for chicken fried steak and those awesome drinks that I’ve gone by the wayside that they can prepare also wonderfully.

My husband and I love this place. Kitschy atmosphere, delicious food (simple yet sophisticated homestyle comfort dishes. Solid flavors, beautifully presented), old school libations, fun patio.
Favorite small bar in Midtown, if not all of OKC. Great Mad Men atmosphere, perfect music, awesome drinks, amazing bartenders.
The cocktails and the service was spot on. Great place. Loved the small bites.
Had such a great first-time experience here! Brad provided excellent service and knows his specialty drinks (they have a great selection of proper Supper Club beverages). Do not leave there without trying the bacon!
Love this place for a wonderful meal or some skillfully made cocktails. Or BOTH! They always have something special on the menu. Also they make one of the best old fashion in town.

The REAL deal! In a city booming with "retro" themed bars, R&J's gets it right. They serve more than just atmosphere--consistently outstanding food, drinks, & service. We instantly became regulars, and the staff has shown us nothing but love! We always go for the Coq au Vin and the Old Fashioneds, and they never disappoint!!
Great drinks & good atmosphere. I'm glad they serve dinner late, bc I works nights & have a place to go for dinner. Kinda small & slow service, but the food makes up for it.
This place has great drinks and interesting food. The real gem though is their Sunday night dinner club they have twice a month. It's a set menu multi course meal that is fantastic. I have been there several times and it's great. It really showcases the chef.
So if you were ever to get caught stuck in between dimensions or in between this life and the next, I imagine you would end up in a place like R&J's before you move on. Â
The atmosphere of this place is like stepping back in time. Â Red velvet stripped wallpaper, wooden conquistador bust, and deer head in the corner, it is definitely an experience on its own. Â With a very unassuming door at the entrance it is a well hidden secret. Â
The shrimp and hushpuppy appetizer was very good and simple. Â Along with the little smokies. Â
My wife and I shared the beef stroganoff and it was more than enough for the both of us. Â It was very good also. Â I didn't think beef stroganoff could be other than mediocre. Â My wife enjoyed her drinks and the pudding dessert was very tasty also. Â R&J takes simple things from growing up and makes them new favorites.
Wonderful drinks! Â Menu is like a step back in time (and a good one!) and everything I have had is very good. Â From musselts to ham salad to crab toast, this place is edgy and fun with an old school feel. Â The service can be a bit slow and the seating is limited, so go with that in mind, and relax!
I love how unique this place is and I've been several times. The drinks are affordable and the food is great. Service can be a bit slow, but the atmosphere and food options make it worth it.

Walking back in time.. Definitely a different take on your average place. I felt as if the Rat Pack would be held up in the corner booth smoking and drinking. Would be cool if they would play more music from that era as well. Food is good and from the time period but wish there were a little more choices. One of our faves is the Spread Platter.
Good ambience and amazing food. You can go grab a drink or have a delicious dinner. Great prices and big portions .

RJ’s is a cool little joint with absolutely great food and service! We enjoyed a great Sunday afternoon sitting at the bar. Our bartender was Landon (if I remember correctly), and he was great!! We had the relish tray, hush puppies, the spaghetti & meatballs and the crème brûlée (it’s a must have!!). Everything was great, but the crème Brûlée was one of the best that we’ve ever had! Highly recommend!!
This place was awesome! Right off the bat we were welcomed by the bartender and friendly staff. Eric was just the sweetest and he was very attentive. The atmosphere was dark and moody, perfect for a date night. Drinks were strong and very reasonably priced. We shared the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was great! We weren't very hungry, so that was all we got. This place is a hidden gem. We will be back!
There are few places like this. A posh but welcoming place that superbly balances upscale and down to eath! Classy while feeling comfortable like your neighborhood hangout, as this obviously is for many. Legitimately crafted cocktails. The menu struck me as eclectic and thoughtful. The food was delicious! You should go.
“Is tequila a carb” is easily top 5 cocktails I’ve had in Oklahoma City ! Service is top notch as well - would have taken a picture of the drink but it sorta disappeared … lol would recommend
First time at RJ's. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the nieborhood bar atmosphere. The others at bar were very welcoming. Had a great time. Had some stroganoff, too. Will be back, for sure.

Great staff and outstanding chicken fried steak sandwich. The ambiance is pleasing and inviting. Bar cocktails are creative and well prepared. They have tasty starters and a good selection of entrees. The patio is spacious and cleaver.
Went here for the first time the other night and it was a neat little pub. I ordered the Fired chicken thighs and i must admit is was way better that I would have ever expected. The staff was very friendly and I will definitely be back.

Very strong drinks and solid food. Wife and I tried this place for a date night.
The drinks were quite strong. Only had two small drinks and that was enough. Tried the chicken fried steak. The crust is made out of hash browns. Very unique and interesting taste. J quite enjoyed it. Mashed potatoes were only warm, not hot. The green beans were salted with extra onions.
Stopped in for an appetizer and drinks after seeing reviews about this place having a great atmosphere and food. It didn't disappoint. It has a vintage vybe with a dimly lit lounge and also a sunlit patio where my husband enjoyed a cigar. We ordered the margaritas made with fresh squeezed juices and not a mix and they were fantastic! I had heard about the bacon for an appetizer and Wow best.bacon.ever. It was $8 for 3 pieces but so worth it. We also enjoyed the hush puppies with a tangy mustard dipping sauce. Our waitress, Jes, was on point and super friendly. She was very easy to chat with and we plan to be back with friends!.
This is my favorite place. The mixed drinks are the best, my favorite is blood & sand. The food is great. I love the deviled eggs, shrimp & grits, mac&cheese, cheesy crab toast, east side chicken, & French onion soup. Also check out the Sunday supper club!!
This place is dope. Hidden gem. Just like everyone else says, awesome cheap cocktails. Great food that is a little pricer. Super cool vibe and atmosphere. Decent service. Definitely worth trying.

Sorta feels like walking into an old Humphrey Bogart movie, even the alley entrance was worthy! Bartender was qualified and knowledgeable. The snacks were very good, order a side of green beans for an appetizer, a bit messy for finger food but tasty!
Cute little Lounge and Supper club in Midtown! The place is DARK inside. The first time I went in I could barely see to get to my seat! However, let your eyes adjust...peruse their excellent cocktail menu and start drinking! I didn't have any food but the one drink I ordered (Blood and Sand) was excellent. The drink prices are very reasonable. It was around 4pm on a Thursday and there wasn't a single open spot at the bar. That should tell you something. I will be back!
