This place is a treasure! We have enjoyed many meals and made lots of memories here. Delicious food, wonderful homemade desserts, great atmosphere, friendly and helpful servers.
I'm very sad to hear they have permanently closed...

Old world dining at its best. Sad to see this place closing soon. Had the rainbow trout, delicious.

Food was ok , but I was going for the ambiance & the history of the restaurant. Beautiful place. I would read up on the history of the restaurant before you go there ( the restaurant was once a family summer home in the 1800’s) . I think if you are going for just the experience, do it. Food reminds me of Grandma’s cooking which is not bad , but I wouldn’t consider it fancy. I do like the cinnamon rolls. Just have fun & roll with it .

The food was delicious, but what made this place extra special was the kind and attentive staff and their 1930s formal ambiance (think Titanic dining room) building tucked away within Ogden canyon.
We took my 92 year old grandma and she accidentally spilled her small cup of honey mustard on her plate. Our wonderful server overheard her saying how much she hates honey mustard... Well, without even being asked, she came over to our table and offered to replate everything so the sauce wouldn't touch her food. Really, really really, wonderful staff.
A wonderful gem in Ogden canyon to eat a very nice meal!

Jodie always makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. The food is always good and on the chance something is wrong they take care of it immediately to their customers satisfaction. A great place to go with friends to relax , have a great meal and visit.

This is a quaint location! It feels like walking into a home in the 1850's, but it is fine dining. The oatmeal pie was fantastic and the candied apple was quite the surprise! The staff were friendly, calm, yet funny. We had a good time and can't wait for the snow to go away so they are open more often.

This gem takes you to a time of years passed. The ambience is wonderful. The food is delicious and fair priced. The staff was attentive and kind. Their Christmas decorations were incredible. One of my husbands and my favorite local restaurants.

We stayed at the Alaskan Inn 2 blocks from here and everyone couldn't stop reccomending this place a 5 course meal $25-35 a person and made from scratch with fresh local ingredients. Its well worth it and ask about the story of the place it just adds to how amazing that place is!
They do take reservations but we didn't have one. They heard it was our anniversary and put candles in our desserts. We had like 3-4 waitresses always making sure we were good. This place truly is a one of those hole in the wall treasures and we will surely be coming back with friends and family!

This place is a hidden gem. We are so happy a good friend recommended it. This is a true 5 course meal and well worth the price. I had the halibut and it was AMAZING. My husband had the filet and it was tender w great flavor. The cinnamon rolls were great, the husband got a 1/2 dozen to go.

The drive here is beautiful. The location is outstanding with a stream by the parking lot. Building is full of charm and history.
Our server, Jody, was amazing!!! We ordered zucchini appetizers, dinner was prime rib and NY strip with grilled shrimp, with choice of fruit cup with raspberry sherbet or tomato juice, salad or homemade soup, baked potato. Desert was cranberry apple crisp...you could taste the cinnamon, hint of tartness from cranberry and vanilla with ice cream, last desert was brownie ale mode .
Let's not forget the rolls and cinnamon rolls too.
A must visit, with a repeat visit in our future.
Amazing!!
