Antonio's Authentic Portuguese Restaurant

My family and I had eaten here regularly pre-Covid. We returned for Thanksgiving dinner (we do not like turkey). Nothing inside the restaurant changed; however, the service provided by the servers was phenomenal. There were three servers. Every working server and the owner visited every table during our dinner, checking to ensure the customers had all they needed and to see if everything was good. They stopped by at least three times while we were there. The food was delicious and plentiful. I, of course, had seafood (made to my specifications), my daughter had a steak, and my husband had Paella. I highly recommend coming here for a fantastic meal. We will return to Antonios regularly.

We were a party of 20 people gathering for dinner and chose Antonio’s in Oceanside based on reviews. The seating was prearranged and comfortable. The food was absolutely delicious. All 20 meals came out at one time and were piping hot. The service was excellent and very professional. The staff at Antonio’s could not have made our large dinner crowd any more comfortable. Thank you to Julia and her crew. We will all be back!!

What it lacks in ambiance it makes up in service, value and quality. Their meat and seafood are very good. The sangria is potent. The service was professional and attentive. It’s a medium-sized humble operation that really knows how to push out food. Its unassuming feel is a good match for the unpretentious neighborhood: a quiet commercial section of Long Beach rd, next door to a Nicolock paving distributor. Just so you don’t think I’m a shill, I will mark them down for two items: the shrimp had a hint of iodine bloom. The ambiance and decor are 2 star (43” tv in the dining room!) Back to the positive: they have a good variety of Italian to supplement the Iberian. They also have a decent kid’s menu. We will be back.

A great place to celebrate a birthday. My first time i went there was to celebrate my mom's birthday (in march 2018) and one year later I decided to celebrate my birthday with my family here because I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Then this year, I was there to celebrate 🍾 my sister's birthday and as usual the atmosphere and food were still on point.
