Oc Steamers

I personally don't understand all the negative reviews about this place. My father and I came here for dinner at 630pm and the place was not crowded at all. My dad initially wanted the "All You Can Eat Crabs" but after our waitress (who was so nice and personable) told us the crabs were small, he ordered a dozen of their large blue crabs (I would like to note that it was not mentioned on their menu, so if you don't want small blue crabs, just ask for their large ones). The crabs were cooked to perfection. I ordered the crab cake and crab soup, both were really good. The place overlooks the bay so it has an AMAZING view and is indoors. The music was very retro/ disco and I really liked that. I will definitely be coming here again!

Cute kids meal with sand toys. Waited 45+ minutes for our meals to come out. My crab cakes were delicous and improperly cooked. One meal never came out. The Manager lied to us about being busy with upstairs and downstairs areas. Not a single soul upstairs. The kids meals were completely uncooked. Actually, all of the food had some major problem with it. Most of the food was not cooked properly. Horrible experience Thank you to our waiter who took the brunt of this very bad experience. The first time I ever had to walk out of a resteraunt.

I would not recommend the OC Steamers Seafood Market. I ordered a dozen large crabs for $89.00. I did not check the bag right away. Found out later on that we only received 10 crabs! And I had to pay for wooden mallets (tiny prefab). The restaurant is good and many people on staff so you will not get stiffed. But having been a regular visitor to OC and a Maryland resident, I much prefer and highly recommend On the Bay Seafood near the OC Convention Center. You can crack crabs outside or take it back to you digs. Very nice owners and when we ordered take out we received a roll of paper to line our table and wooden mallets. Cheers!

Terrible!! My Fiancé ordered the "all u can eat crab" The crabs were so small and slimy. A few of them looked rotten! Clam strips were burnt. Crab cake had crab Shell inside the size of a quarter!!!! My mother-in-law to be had the stuffed flounder, that tasted like Sewer water!! Terrible servous aswell. Bathrooms where discussing!!!! $120 Later I was completely pissed!!!!! Never will WE ever go back. Do your self a favor and eat elsewhere!!!!!

Went mid-day and got a seat outside at the "Crab Shack." View of the bay would be nicer if they used a tarp awning rather than single umbrellas for each of the tables. Service was quick. Got my vodka and club soda immediately, along with a menu. Ordered the fried oyster po'boy. It arrived about 10 minutes later nestled next to a very nice pile of shoe-string fries and a pickle spear. Now, for $16, I would've liked more than 4 oysters on a 6 inch roll. I also had to ask for mayo, and, the roll was untoasted. Barteneder was quick to fix and brought out siracha mayo in less than 10 seconds from my request. The oysters were delicious. Very delicate, and fresh. Fries were awesome as was the deli pickle. My bill came to $24.00 for a sandwich and single drink, which I thought was a bit pricey. I also didn't like that the menu was very limited and lacked... crabs. Service gets an A+, but the portion and price were a bit lacking. Still, a good experience overall.

Terrible experience. All the food we ordered came out at different times . Asked for ice cream for a 4 year old which came out at the end of the meal after we kept asking for it several times. Watched one of the bartenders take the whipped cream can and shoot it into his mouth after using it on the kids ice cream. Waiter kept saying "next time you will get better service" and " don't let this reflect badly on the restaurant".

Stay away. I have been In OC for 25 tears and this was by far the worse resturaunt I have ever been in. Crabs were horrabule, food was cold , our order took over 1 hour to be served. The orders were all wrong and several at our table did not even get there food. When we asked for the manager following all the foul ups, we were informed he was busy, so, they sent the bar tender in his place. The bar tender informed us that there were mutable tables that the manager was talking to, all had the same complaints. We told the bar tender that we would wait for the manager just the same. 45 mins later the manager did make it to our table and he stated, that the kitchen and staff were not prepared to serve the volume of customers in the restaurant. If you want cold food, wrong items, raw fish (not cooked) horrible service and don't mind waiting a long time than please go and ruin your evening.
