We don’t normally EVER leave reviews but, this place deserves one for sure!!! Where do we start…the view was stunning, the food was amazing (not only did we come back twice during our trip) but, our server Stephanie was the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! She was very very kind and super friendly. We were lucky enough to get her both days we went to the Marina Deck for supper! We enjoyed the boneless bbq wings and the flounder both very tasty and cooked perfectly!! All round an amazing restaurant and kind staff we would highly recommend!! We will definitely be coming back again next year! Thank you again Stephanie!!

Good food, good service. Our server, Autumn was kind, attentive and made sure we had what we needed. The food was good. But let's be honest if you're here you are here for the sunset and it is amazing. We seen a dolphin or two swim through the bay. You literally sit and over look the bay and have an amazing view.
If you are in Ocean City looking to impress a date this is the place to do it.

Food was great! Service was great! Beautiful view! We were in town during the off season and were looking for places to go that were dog friendly. The hotel that we stayed at was dog friendly and gave us a welcome packet of dog friendly places in the area. I also looked on the “Bring Fido” app, both places mentioned this restaurant so we decided to go. It was great! There was a dedicated food menu for dogs and the waitress immediately brought us water in a dog bowl when we arrived. It was also a great place for kids, with a kids menu and play area. All of the food was good and the view was beautiful on the water. Our server was really nice, attentive, made food and drink suggestions and overall just great. The reason this is a 3 star review instead of 5 was because when we were getting ready to leave the bartender was loudly talking about how horrible it was that there was a dog and asking the server if she asked if it was a service dog. For one- we never claimed she was a service dog! We would never expect to be seated inside with a dog in the first place. We fully expected to sit on a deck. When we first arrived we had walked up to the rooftop deck before realizing it wasn’t open yet. The only reason we were in the “inside” area was because we were greeted and told to grab a seat. Also it was technically a deck! The floor was wood planks and also, there were sliding doors everywhere that made it appear they were usually open, making the deck area that we were on, an “outside” area too. Because we were there before peak season it was a chilly day and the sliding doors were closed. We were the only ones in the table area, which was separate from the bar where the rest of the guests were. We were having a great time, I texted a few friends about coming back here when we were back in town. It wasn’t until we were getting our bill at the end when we overheard the bartender being just loud and rude. Her bar guests were seemingly disagreeing with her and she was grilling the server if she had asked if it was a service dog, which our server had responded with “it’s illegal to ask if a dog is a service dog”. Once again- it was never our intention to “break” the rules or upset anyone. We would have been fine sitting somewhere else but because of the nature of the building and the way they were wonderfully catering to dogs we thought it was ok. It was a shame the bartender soured the whole experience right at the end. With that being said- we would still probably come back when in town in the future. Side note- all 3 of us are bartenders and have worked in the hospitality industry for 10+ years. Hence why we were vacationing on a Tuesday in the off season.

I have never been so disappointed in an order. We ordered a lot of different things they all were EXTREMELY over priced for the qty and quality of all the items we received. I paid $38.50 for this crab cake entree and an extra $3.99 to upgrade the side to onion rings. This is what I received:

This place has a wonderful view of the Chesapeake bay. We got a table on the deck and witnessed the pristine sunset and 4th of July fireworks. It was a nice experience. Highly recommend their NY cheesecake with raspberry and whipped cream topping. Loved it. Tried their cheese bites, Pasta Alfredo. Cheese bites was good and pasta was heavy and okayish.

Good meal. Weather was perfect , we sat outside ir was very pretty. Waiter was great and the meal was delicious . Even the steamed oyster s for appetizers.
Great Sunset. Only wish table was a little cuter and they had like placemats or something.

The food was good and our server was very nice. Sat outside on the second floor so we had a beautiful view. Dog friendly.

Me & my family have been vacationing to OCMD for the past 25 years. We always made it a point to get to the Marina Deck as this was our favorite spot. This year will be our last visit. It was such a disappointment. Apparently they have done away with being able to chose your side salad for an entree, which was a bummer. I was super excited to have the spinach salad with my entree, but that option was not available anymore. You can now only pick the house salad or tropical salad. The tropical salad was awful!!! It tasted like the shrimp were frozen & mushy, Did not taste like shrimp at all. My sister could not eat her entree because it was made SPICEY(which she did not order). The server said he would have the manager take it off. The server comes back and states the manager took off your entree but we are going to charge your for your 2 sides. I find it outrageous that this was a mistake on their end yet they are going to nickel and dime the customer like this. We asked to speak to the manager, but he never came to talk to us. They did end up not charging us for her food. Of the 4 of us dining 3 got the green beans as a side. They were disgusting, looking like right out of the can. They mushed in your mouth. I also was charged for a side I never got, which was taken off. We ended up spending $180 on an awful dinner! Me and my family will definitely not be going back.

Welcome to the Marina Deck, set on the water with beautiful views in Ocean City Maryland. It seems particularly egregious to replace heritage with hologram.
From the outside looking in, the poorly conceived restaurant spewing bile with the same zeal they usually reserve for reality talk shows. This is a restaurant for recently married couples who hope they’ll get divorced before they ever reach the companionable stage in which one of them brushes their teeth while the other has a pee.
Will the last samurai to leave please turn on the lights? Gloomy darkness with lackluster decor and so much more awaits you inside ( “It is decorated in various shades of taupe, years of grime, and a fuck you”) This sets the stage for your dining experience.
Depending on which door you enter, you may be greeted by a hostess or the acrid-smelling burnt vinegar wafting intermittently through the raucous dining room.
If you got past all of that , you deserve the full experience at the bar. Here you will meet a twitchy faced, homely, unkempt ,sack of potatoes dictating the bar that betrays the kind of “overconfidence that grows from ignorance.” The conversation will leave you feeling like you’re on funniest home videos in a small land locked town full of inbreeding. You will learn local gossip at its finest like “Shacking up with the owner gives her a feeling of power” she obviously can’t achieve through any skill of her own. The noise level of her voice ,clocks in above the “threshold for pain.”
If that isn’t enough to make you think your going to hear banjos playing in a horror movie ,wait , you should actually be prepared for an overly priced science experiment cocktail that may be “pretty to look at” but “sadly will fall as flat as that Tom Cruise Mummy movie.” The cocktail will turn out to be a metaphor for the appetizers and meal to come.
Not knowing what to order? Ask the staff and they will recommend anything highlighting in grey on the menu.
Think “seafood for dummies.”
Try the “seafood skins so thick and glutinous that eating them was a little like biting into semi-coagulated library paste.”
Cheesy fries sound safe, that include floppy bits of uncured bacon, it’s more of a textural experience than a taste sensation, like eating a gummy, tasteless cloud with an artificial tang and plastic texture of a Kraft single.
Even “The award winning cream of crab soup” accompanied by crackers, (which you will be thankful for) turns out not to be actual soup, but a barely spoonable, purulent clumps of crab drowned in an eighth of an inch of butter and oil , as if they poured the grease and all — straight from a frying pan. Its precisely the type of liquid one might expect to find scrapped off the side of a hot steel street buffet and tastes faintly of gut-scented butter or pressed liposuction. The fat clings to the roof of the mouth with the oleaginous insistence of dentist’s wax.
“Fresh catch of the day”, not likely, it was fresh frozen somewhere. With a taste like they had been cooked last week and refrigerated next to an uncovered vat of liquid aspirin in a prison cafeteria.
Ask your server what kind of fish are in the fish tocos, then ask another server, you will be left believing you’re getting a trio of different fish.
Prime Rib, this composite of meat is mysteriously bland and almost unimaginably dry,” But the best thing to do with it is pretend it doesn’t exist.”
Blackened shrimp, fish, scollops , charred exterior crust to a carbonic black, while the interior will droop flaccid. Exhibited the color and texture of wet mud.
His menu is a minefield of latent dangers, which can be triggered by any number of things, from an inferior (or missing) ingredient to sloppy execution in the kitchen ,to poor platting. Gimmicky food both tasteless and a rip-off.
The service doesn’t make up for it at Marina Deck. The staff find a way to make the concessioners at Yankee Stadium look four-star by comparison.
There is only one thing worse than being served a terrible meal: being served a terrible meal by earnest waiters who have no idea just how awful the things they are doing to you.
It’s a miserable dark trap.
If I work hard, with luck, one day I may be able to forget.”
When in the form of a review, despite its pains, negative feedback is one of your key tools to improving areas of your restaurant such as operations, food, and service.

We had a late lunch on the outside deck!! The food was great! I had the chicken salad wrap & Hubby had the Blt wrap! Both of these were excellant choices!! Our waitress was also great!! I would recommend the Marina Deck to all of my friends!!

We went to the Marina Deck today and had the best dinning experience we ever had here in Ocean City. The food and our server Scott were both out of this world. His suggestions were both very honest and very tasty. This was our first time eating here in all the years we have been coming down here and we can't believe we have not dined before. We definitely will be back and request Scott again!!!!

We could not have been more thrilled with Dennis and his staff at Marina Deck as the host location for our client event party this past weekend! I had never eaten there but was looking for a waterfront venue with a nice view for about 100 clients. We weren’t sure how it was going to be with a major OC crowd on Memorial Day Sunday and Dennis and his staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooftop deck bar was absolutely ideal and they sectioned off half of it for us as a private event. The food exceeded my (very picky) expectations, no one in our party waited more than 30 seconds at the bar for a bartender to get them a drink and the Live music just below us at M.R. Ducks was just the right volume to add a really fun, lively feel to the party. We were overwhelmed with the responses we got after the event from clients thanking us for such a fantastic party. We will definitely use that location again!!! Thank you so much, Dennis and Staff, for being the best catered event location we could asked for! Looking forward to coming back very soon!

Donna was the best! We’ve been coming for years and there’s no service quit like hers, she’s on top of it. Didn’t have to wait around for refills on crabs or drinks. Super friendly & made our experience this year awesome!

Very good food, waiter was great, very nice view from the upper deck of the bay as we were eating. Highly recommended this place to friends that will be vacationing in OCMD.

Should have went to McDonald's. Ribs were dryer than the bones. Looks like they found them in the back of the fridge and nuked them and served them. All you can eat was horrible and make sure you dont share! They replenished your plate as you eat but by the time the second round comes you are ready to leave.

This place has gone down hill. It is not the place you once knew. Skip it and go somewhere new. It was horrible.

We stopped in here after our Assateague Adventure. The people were very friendly and our waiter Scott was the best. We will come back again along with recommending to our friends.
