We loved Tolly's! It's an old fashioned pharmacy / soda bar that has nostalgic charm and grate food. The staff is extremely attentive, welcoming and helpful. You feel like you stepped back in time and get great customer service. Make sure to sign in and put where you are from in the visitor book. People flying from all over the world to go to Tolly's.

We went to a beer pairing dinner with Tolly's and Two Shy last night. The pairings were amazing and I can't wait to go back and get some more of their pasta that's made in house. The patio looked amazing and I looked the lower light atmosphere they had going on inside. Also the desert window had many choices.

I didn't hate it, it's just not in business anymore. It's been closed for 5 years, is now owned by someone else who's turning it into an antique store or something.

If you get a chance stop by this place! It's super cool inside and a cute little town. Not to mention the food was great and the pie??? Must have! Service is stellar as well!

Really nice server but it took forever 40 min to an hour for our food to arrive. They weren't busy, the food...some of it really good some not so good. Prices are high for the quality comparable to Portland downtown. I really like the atmosphere and that sweet little town.
I'll likely try it again sometime, give em a chance to redeem themselves.
I'd say the issue is in the kitchen.

Such a fun place, feels like stepping back in time. We only had dessert. My husband had the chocolate malt milkshake and loved it. I had the lemon blueberry tart and it was amazing! Will definitely make the trip back south again for Tolly's!

Tolly’s was my 2nd kitchen as I disliked having to cook. We had a lot of meals there and enjoyed the food and ambiance. We have really missed not having a great restaurant close by. Any restaurant ran by the Tollefsons will be great. Plus they always had a great wine selection. Everyone I have talked to is thrilled about Tolly’s reopening.

Great place to visit. The ambiance, the food and great service are fantastic. Moreover, the eclectic decor of antiques really make for a visual adventure while noshing on your favorite sandwich. Can't wait for it to reopen.

My fist visit to Tolly’s was many years ago, after a softball game. I had hit a home run & my coach bought me a milkshake. Such a fun store/restaurant! Excited to see it open again!

Late review - but we went there for the first time in January with some friends who came down from Washington.

We were seated by a lovely young lady who was very polite and friendly. We got a table in the back area near the bar. And here we sat...and sat...no one came by to even offer water. About 7 minutes later our waitress came by. She was also very pleasant, but did not apologize for taking so long. We weren't the only ones back there, there were a few other folks scattered about. The place was not full by any means, and there were several other waitresses about.

Our order was taken, wine was poured and we waited...32 minutes later our food arrived. I was stunned it too so long. Hubby had ordered the Tolly's Original sandwich and a milk shake, our friends ordered the Tolly's beef dip and Reuben sandwich and I went for the burger.

Hubby's sandwich comments - It's pretty tasty, but kind greasy.
Shake - Very good
Beef Dip comments - could not figure out why they put horseradish mayo on the bread. It was overwhelming.
Reuben sandwich comments - so much sauce the bread was soggy.
Hamburger - way over cooked and the bun was massive. Nothing came with it like mayo, mustard ketchup etc. Just the burger and fries with a yellowed tomato slice and a piece of lettuce. No onion, not even a pickle.

I do not think we will eat there again. It's a cute place to go sit at the counter and enjoy a shake on a hot summer day.

I give it 2 stars because the ambiance is nice, the shakes were good, and they have a full bar.
