So happy to have come in to the new location of this very special gem of a restaurant. Chef Clive, as a always it was a pleasure to see you. I highly recommend everything on the menu. Authentic Jamaican food cooked right, and with love and intelligence.
This restaurant has reopened in Oakland. Lines were wrapped around the building all day for two days just to get a bite of the delicious Jamaican cuisine. The food is amazing. The Staff is friendly. The place is very clean and attractive. It's a great place to sit and have a great meal!
Very warm hospitality! We drove from San Jose to Oakland bec I was craving for jerk chicken and plantains. We ordered 2 jerk chicken dinner and beef Pattie’s to go. Amazing food with big portion size. Rice was super delicious, the chicken very tender and flavorful. And the plantains just amazing. Hi
Here to visit and i decided i wanted to try some Caribbean food and i went to this place “they greeted me very nice by the way” and ordered a dinner plate of oxtails for 30 dollars the money wasn’t the problem but the plate was. This is definitely not an oxtail plate and this is definitely not worth
Many gluten free options! I ordered the jerk chicken dinner, it came w 5 pieces, beans & rice, 4 plantains, and sauce. It was medium spicy and super delicious! Chef Clive came out to introduce himself and explain that everything on the menu, except the patties, are gf.
