Review 7-eleven - Oakland

Sometimes they're open later than my bodega, sometimes they're not. Hours aren't clear. But staff is nice, it's well-stocked, you get everything you need. Solid spot, just don't count on it for late night. More stars as soon as they update their hours and stay consistent

Updated your store hours 7 days ago to the wrong hours. Love driving to a store to find out their hours are incorrect. Super convenient. Thanks for nothing

Honestly customer service in this 7-Eleven is horrible the owner of the 7-Eleven does not have no customer service skills whatsoever his language was vulgar and unprofessional this gentleman should not be owning a 7-Eleven I'm highly disappointed worst 7-Eleven experience in my life and I have been to a lot of 7-Elevens from coast to coast staff with no uniform that he doesn't care he's been owner for 40 years and he doesn't care about customer service. I have been coming to the 7-Eleven for over 7 years and because of this one situation I will be boycotting this location I am so disappointed usually walk in and say good morning to staff is usually friendly honestly I feel like he is very mentally unstable and should not even be around people truly was a scary situation for me this all started because I stated that most 7-Elevens they put a cup in the trash can to keep it open for the customers to throw away their half and half and this gentleman went off saying this is not all 7-Elevens cursed me out I do not even feel like saying the language that he said what's with my elderly father he felt very unsafe we told the staff to go ahead and call the police because we wanted to document the situation but they never showed up so for my safety and the safety of my father I decided to leave I will be contacting the corporate office well I wish my first Yelp review was a better one bless and wish you all the best

I just shopped there. Bought a soda and the guy gave me a hard time. I asked for a bag because I am disabled and walking not driving the clerk at the counter says bags are 10 cents that's the government charge not me. I did not ask him all that I simply asked for a bag which I gladly would have paid for naturally. His service and attitude stinks! Never shopping there ever again.

Some of the rudest people I've ever met. Left an item I'd purchased behind and called the listed numbers to enquire. The first time they apparently hung up on me before even hearing what I was calling about. The next time, got a fax squeal. The next time they refused to admit that I'd reached 711, even tho' I recognized his Indian accent. The next day, the owner was there, kept interrupting me, told me I'd have to speak to the person on duty at the time and that the item hadn't been set aside. I told him of the behavior of his employee the night before, and he didn't care, just hurried me out of the store. Said simply: "You lost it." I also noticed that one of the earbuds I'd noticed the night before was missing the rubber cushion and gave it to the clerk. It was back for sale in the same condition the next day. Rotten attitude.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Just after 7am one Saturday I pulled into this farce of a store and parked to take an unexpected phone call. My niece needed to be taken to her school urgently. During the brief call I noticed the employee going out of his way to walk towards the window and look me over as if I shouldn't be there. At this time NO one else was patronizing the place. No customers inside or outside, and hardly any traffic up or down Grand Avenue. I ignored the guy and began Wazing my next destination while simultaneously gathering change from my purse. Exactly 23 min had elapsed from the time I parked. At this point I decided, Welp there's no one here but me soo..I'm here I might as well get coffee right? WRONG!!! Just as I was applying pressure to my door handle in anticipation of caffeine satisfaction the same strange employee was tapping on my window. To my surprise.. I put the key back in the ignition and cracked my window, "yes??" I said. He proceeded to ask me quite rudely why I had been there so long. The question itself was strange and unnecessary but I chose to respond anyway. I began to open my door while telling him I was just about to come inside. This fact did not matter and the overbearing little man raised his voice more while pointing at the 15 minute time limit sign posted in the window. I looked around at the STILL empty parking lot and the customerless establishment. Livid and on a tight time schedule I said "never mind". He said "Good" and waved me away with his hands as I refastened my seatbelt. I was so insulted! There are soooo many points of disgust I could share but I've already got an essay here. First time in my life got charged for hot watter in my on 20oz container. The guy said $1.50 but charged me $1.59 - just for hot water( by the way I just purchased coffee right before that for $1.89 in their cup)

I ask the guy if he had fresh coffee cause the one i got it was the last one of the pot it was cold he was mad cause i told him if i can get it fresh and he did do a fresh one i wait and when it was done he pored the old coffee on the new coffee!!!! What a crappiest customer service and i know hes gonna know who wrote this but never coming to this 711
