Uptown Cafe - Oakland - Photo album

Food came out really quickly. Pancakes were good and the tuna melt was pretty alright too. Simple and filling!
I took 3 bites of my crepe and left. Ingredients tasted cheap. Ham tasted old Also guessing the grill hadn't been cleaned in a while. Food had a strange metallic taste. $28 lesson.
Man, this place has some damn good food. I wanted to try their salmon but they were out but the penne pasta was amazing. The staff was very nice too. Very clean ans and cute little cafe. I'm sure the crepes are just as amazing!! Great place to people watch.
I've been going to this place for years now! My favorites are: Breakfast Eye opener!! Yummy!! Their Monday special: Pesto pasta with chicken is delish! And their Thur special: Rotisserie chicken is oh soooo good.
Varied menu with breakfast, sweet and savory crepes, sandwiches, and salad options. Full coffee menu, as well as juices. Perfect place for a meeting, date, or just quiet breakfast or lunch. And the staff was amazingly attentive and friendly!
A little pricey but good overall experience decent service and the ingredients are fresh simple yet a little elegant twist on good old American breakfast. Haven't tried crepes just yet.
I went expecting the food not to be gourmet, and even given that, I was disappointed. There were lots of fun flavor combinations, but my crepe just wasn't very good.
A varietyof savory and sweet crepes. Soups, salads and sandwiches. Coffees and more. Open space with tables. Outside seating, and very friendly staff. What's not to like?
