Great location, hidden in a quiet corner across from a garden park, yet in bustling part of town. Owner keeps the place immaculate! It is cozy and comfortable with a variety of seating arrangements, magazines to read, and clean facilities. I go for small breakfast, a sandwhich, tea, or smoothie. The food is extremely fresh tasting, and healthy so I feel great after eating there. Variety of folks there-- local business people, kids from the nearby art school, parents relaxing while their kid is at a nearby activity, artists collaborating... The staff has always been very friendly to me and all the myriad of customers, whether they are regulars or not.

Good little local cafe, right next to the park. Coffee is OK but not wonderful, however their main focus is their smoothies. They have a pretty big menu, and a list of ingredients to build your own. The smoothies are very good, and pretty reasonably priced. Generally not too busy.

This place has awesome smoothies. I got the Iron Fist, kale, peanut butter, banana and soy milk. It's SO good. Highly recommend it for anyone that wants a fresh healthy smoothie at a great price ($6.50 for a large! ).
Great location right be the Fox Theater and 19th Street BART

I was just looking up a new place to get juice. Based solely on the incredibly rude and hostile responses from the owner, I will NEVER go here. Refusing to let a 3 year old child use the bathroom because she didn't purchase something??? And the ongoing commentary about it? Damn, you're just a greedy and soulless mean person.
Good for you and the 'the rules,' how much would would one toilet flush really put you out??? You're the reason people hate capitalists and if you're sense of humanity is soo lacking and your greed so large, I don't see your business ever taking off. You're a sad sad misguided person lacking empathy.
Addendum, I just looked at the photos of this place and remember i did stop in here once for a juice. I wanted to use the bathroom before ordering so I could relax and enjoy my food and I also remember being hassled about ordering first. I remember being stressed about that as I really had to go but they gave me a hard time and made me wait until after I had my stuff. It wasn't pleasant. I didn't feel welcome here.

This is a nice minority owned boutique cafe and I hope it succeeds! It's a bit pricey. Juices are really good. Coffee is very average to poor. I like their veggie sandwich!

This place calls itself a "family business" but it's anything but that. Today I rushed in with my 3-year old daughter because she had to use the bathroom very badly and the girl behind the counter REFUSED to let her use the bathroom, saying it was for paying customers only. How horrible is that! There were maybe 3 people tops in the place. She ended up peeing on herself outside and was so traumatized! How horrible must you be to refuse a 3-year old a bathroom. Very bad experience after a wonderful brunch at Flora. Needless to say, we will never be Marana customers.

I ordered the Energizer Bunny so good and fulfilling. Definitely would recommend to anyone reading this and will definitely be coming here weekly.

Friendly & delicious! Good food, unique and wonderful service, and great customer service. The proprietress always remembers my name, and she's always willing to make something special.
