Local cafe with a town feel. Location is nice. Friendly staff. Able to eat inside or outside. Sandwich was tasty. Pricey. Fresh. And messy. Make sure to grab a handful of napkins before you indulge.

Rooz means day in farsi. The owner is a very cool man and his whole team especially the warm young man who greets you — is a gem in Oakland culture. Not to mention the drinks are dirt cheap and delicious. They know their craft having been in Oakland for over 30 years ( the owner) I recommend their
Super Friendly service, very fresh ingredients, they receive their breads daily from House of bagels in Alameda – the owner is Iranian and very accommodating. It is a very clean space and has outdoor seating. Highly recommend.
such a great neighborhood spot. bomb sandwiches. can't wait til i can sit and read my book while sippin espresso inside again. but in the meantime they got tables out on the sidewalk. much love.

Bagel and cream cheese, yeah a plain order, but it was loaded with the good stuff. Impressive selection of food, they have komboucha on tap, which is great! Just wished they filled growlers of komboucha ~
