Old school Chinese breads that you can’t find anymore! Not much to choose from but still pretty good and it’s really cheap! The cha siu bo lo bao is great warmed in the oven. The egg tarts are pretty good too!

Cash only here! I came for their delicious egg tarts! Sooo yummy fresh and warm. They are currently $1.25 each. I personally prefer Golden Gate's for crust layer texture, but Napoleon's can't be beat for East Bay convenience. They do sell out later in the day, so don't come too late. Additionally

Good selection of Asian-inspired bakery goods. It was fresh and well presented. The egg-tarts was fresh, and warm, when we got our order filled. It is located in the middle of Chinatown Oakland which made it convenient for us. Service was fine.

One of the best in Oakland Chinatown! Unfortunately the line is long but it is worth the wait. There is no tourist here (not like SF Chinatown), all local buyers.

A very popular bakery in Oakland Chinatown. Cash only. I grew up here and this place was my go to for Chinese bakery goods. Love their egg tarts. The crust is flakey and if you’re lucky, they’ll still be warm when you buy them! They do run out though, so the best time to go get them is in the morn

The best Chinese bakery in Oakland Chinatown. Classic Hong Kong pastries - egg custard (dan tat), “pineapple” bread (bo lo nap); bbq pork bun (cha siu bao); and much more. At around 5 pm, there’s always a line in front of the store, all unsold items are price reduced.

This place I've been going here for many years. And I always like their bread and I've gotten their cake. Everything's so yummy. I've gone here with friends and family. Would highly recommend to go here. :D And recommendation, go here by noon as in later in the evening there are a bit less options s

The pastries surprisingly weren't very sweet. The eggtarts were a crowd pleaser! They were also very fresh, definitely recommend it!
