Great spot for a quick breakfast, the lox sandwich was packed with veggies and the sausage breakfast sandwich was pretty tasty.
The bakery items in the morning seemed like they were from yesterday but we're still good. Quick simple breakfast for on the go. Nothing too flashy here.
Nomad Cafe is a neighborhood staple. The owners and staff are always friendly and they learn your name quickly if you visit regularly. We've been patrons of nomad for ~5 years and we eat their banh mi sandwiches at least once a week. Thus, they've also memorized our order.

The croissant sandwich I ordered was huge and I barely finished it. The croissant didn't seem very fresh, but overall it was a fine sandwich.
Moved to Oakland after living in Saigon for 3 years and have been craving a Banh Mi and coffee out on the curb ever since.

Don't trust this spot. SERIOUSLY long story short I wanted a sandwich and water an a hemp drink. The drinks are over priced sandwich ban MI as well but beyond that they took my oder wrong got my order after two others ordered was given my sandwich with the person yawning in my face....

Best Tofu banh mi in the East Bay! And found a secret menu item that's my new breakfast go to! EGG BANH MI! The veggies are fresh, the bread is so soft and crunchy at the same time, and the scrambled egg was perfectly cooked.
Nomad Cafe is the neighborhood coffeeshop every place needs. Great coffee, terrific food offerings, all in a friendly environment. Thank you for having such a lovely outdoor patio!
