L’acajou Bakery & Cafe - Oakland - Photo album

Meh. The tables inside were dirty and hadn't been wiped down. No, no one was sitting at them. The girl at the front said hi so that was chill. An elderly lady had asked a worker to come check out flooring was coming up (I watched her trip over it) and the girl was kind of short about it without ackn
L’acajou bakery next to Joaquin Miller Park was quite the delight, outdoor seating, great baked goods, nice menu, we were in heaven!
We stopped here after a Cub scout hike. We tried various pastries and the beyond burger sandwich. Everything wast extremely tasty! Brownie was too chocolaty for me, but my daughter loved it. Will definitely visit again when we are in the neighborhood!
They have some of the best pastries I've ever had, extremely tender and buttery. The other food items have all be good as well. Service can be a tad slow and the coffee is serviceable. If you're just going in for the pastries you can't go wrong.
This local bakery is a great stop for last-minute baked goods, coffee, and sometimes grocery goods. Their raspberry pistachio and cheddar biscuit are my favorite. Although their croissants aren’t the flakey, layered offerings from top tier bakeries, they’re a tasty pastry.
I'm updating my review because I have been going here for two years now, and it is one of my favorite places. The food is really, really delicious. Lately I've been getting their veggie quinoa bowl with the Dijon mustard dressing. So yummy! Also, please bus your table! 🤭
Ok spot for salads and sandwiches.Tri-tip steak sandwich is a winner.
Great staff with quality products. I enjoy the drinks and the pit stop from either the Joaquin Miller trails or the skyline trails. Stop in and take a load off you wont be disappointed.
