Adesso - Oakland - Photo album

Great neighborhood wine bar. Exceptional salame selection and lots of other small plate and sharable items. Happy Hour (they call it "aperitivo" hour) is particularly cool: They bring you a nice plate of appetizers with your drink order. Interesting selection of Italian Wines. Outstanding service.
Adesso is a very low key bar in a very residential area. It is was mellow and quiet. They had a free snack bar in the back with had little bits to eat while you were there. The snacks were decent. My main complaint was they charged me for the entire party i was with and didnt do anything about. I ga
The food is delicious! Menu variety is minimal so they can focus on perfecting their dishes. The pasta is cooked perfectly al dente with a punch of flavor. Everything I've had there is delicious and they have a complimentary pate to eat with your bread.
i love this bar. Happy Hour is so nice and such a great ambience. Snacks come with drinks on the house. The grapefruit gimlet is my goto. the pates are so yummy
meat. wide, but not great, selection of house-cured meats. open very late. all you can eat complimentary happy hour bar several times a day, including late at night, which includes pates and cheeses. supposedly with any single drink purchase. noisy.
It's 2016, I'm not walking around with cash. Not accepting cards, but accepting personal checks, is like saying "come join us for pizza in 1992." You know Square exists right? It takes an iPad ($300-$400 and a square stand $100). Guess I cant know how good your pizza is..
Fun, relaxed place that seems to always find a way to squeeze you in for a snack and a drink. Salumi and other Italian treats await. Clientele seems a mix of ages and interests... So that's nice, too.
Basically it's a really nice bar with high end italian "small food", or appetizers. If you want to sample a lot of different things, a good way to go.
