Honestly, the coffee is good and the pastries are too, but what makes this Peet’s stand out, is the staff. Always polite and courteous.

Nice clean store, great customer service, friendly, down to earth people. The bacon quiche for breakfast was tasty & I really enjoyed their version of a Chai Latte. Cool place, all in all 1 of the very FEW places in DOWNTOWN OAKLAND I'd have a coffee break at. Reasonably priced also.

I like their location and they staff is always courteous very knowledgeable about the types of coffee and drinks. Wish they had better types of pastries but overall they have better coffee than starbucks. Delicious vanilla lattes with almond milk so creamy and strong.

The employees are so sweet and this coffee shop is so lively! Definitely coming back here
