Breads Of India - Oakland - Photo album

The garlic naan was freshly made and the Samosas were the best we've had. They were perfectly crisp and not too oily. The vegetable curry was good as well. The entire atmosphere from the friendly staff to the elaborate decor was amazing.
I've never been to India but the menu looks authentic to me, its nice to get some alternative Indian dishes. However the super high ceiling and big space give it a poor atmosphere, food is kind of $$$ too.
Way over priced upscale Indian food. I was so excited when they opened because there wasn't any Indian food in the area. Went there a couple of times, haven't gone back in years.
Indian restaurant with no onion? Who are they kidding? Slow cooked Lamb was so chewy ... guess you have to eat it slow....serves had no smiles on their faces and full of excuses.
This is a little "under recognized". A great place for authentic Indian. The decor at this loacation is very tastefully done.
South indians.. Pls dont go here. Had Very very bad Briyani in my life time.
I ate there this week. I had the special mutton dish, and it was fantastic.
Excellent chicken tikka masala (most of the time - once the chicken was a bit dry).
