Review Addis Ethiopian Restaurant - Oakland

This is one of the many great Ethiopian restaurants around the Oakland/Berkeley area. We ordered the combo platter and it came with a great assortment of your usual sides. It was nice of our server to throw in extra injera! Prices are very reasonable and the presentation, quality, and portion of the food was great!

Always a good sign seeing a largely East African clientele spending a Sunday afternoon here at this Ethiopian standalone establishment on Telegraph. The vegetarian combo balanced a nice mix of spicy and mild. Yemeser Wot lentils had a depth of flavor unmatched. Injera tastefully tangy. While a bit pricey compared to other Ethiopian restaurants, the dishes are well-worth the few extra dollars. Currently, my go-to Ethiopian restaurant in East Bay.

My first time to try Ethiopian food. I feel surprised food is delicious! Traditional coffee with popcorn for dessert are interesting! Coffee has the special aroma

Very nice CLEAN place and the vibe is great! Food is super fresh and my waitress was awesome! She checked on me in a very timely manner and kept smiling and nodding at me to reassure if everything was going okay 👍🏾. Their homemade honey wine is very nice and sweet with a taste of riesling, and it complimented the after taste of my dinner. 🤌🏾 One of my second favorite Ethiopian restaurants so far! I love this place and I will for sure return 😎. Great spot for either a date, treating yourself, or hanging with friends!

The food was incredible! The injera was sour, spongy, and amazing! The vegetarian combo had a great combination of flavors and I would recommend it to everyone! The service was great too!
