Food and service are good. Music is terrible and loud. Suggest to the waiter to ask the manager for a softer music while you eat. The answer was that the owner likes regueton loud music... Nicely remodeled and comfortable place. Wish they change the music and lower the volume so you can chat and eat in a relaxing atmosphere.

The food here is absolutely delicious. Coupled with the great ambience and friendly service, it's a winner. My 8-year old daughter and I popped in on a Sunday afternoon and we left very pleased. She ordered the chicken fingers, which were freshly-made and delicious. I ordered an appetizer that I cannot pronounce, but it was unique and tasty. For my main, I ordered the Mero mixed with other seafood and it was absolutely incredible. I will definitely be back.

Let me tell you about this joint I went to last Friday night. It's this Peruvian joint on Sunrise, Salimar. Not our first time there, we knew about their great food, but the way they changed this place surprised the hell outta us. First things first, the decor. What the fungus?? They must've hired some fancy shmancy designer 'cause the joint looked like it belonged in one of those high-class magazines. I mean, I almost felt like I was in some swanky joint in Brickell or somethin'. The place was all decked out with elegant furnishings, dim lighting, and some artsy fartsy Peruvian Stuff on the walls. It was a real class act. Now, here's the part that blew my mind. The joint wasn't even packed! I mean, what the fuhgeddaboudit? How could a place this good not be overrun with people? But hey, that just meant we got the VIP treatment. Our Waitress, Gabi, was the best. Food? off the charts. They served up all these authentic Peruvian dishes that were like nothin' I ever tasted before. We started off with some Pulpo (Octopus), fresh as can be. Then we dove into some tacu lomo and Tacu Mariscos , which was a mouthwatering mix of tender beef, onions, and tomatoes, all stir-fried to perfection, and then the seafood version. Recommend ? Yes? Return? Yes? Stars? 5

I stopped by yesterday for an early dinner, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The service was incredibly- ask for Gabby. She was full of menu knowledge, hospitable, and made sure all our food came out promptly. We ordered the ceviche trio. It was filled with soft and tender fish, bug juicy shrimp and delicious calamari. We also had the filet mignon pasta, and it was to die for. If you’re in the area stop by and check out this little hidden gem.

I have been going to Salimar every few months for a couple years now, and I regularly order from them on Uber eats. My order is always correct, and the food is fantastic. The food is always beautifully plated and prompt, and the service is excellent every time. I've tried a good portion of the offerings on their menu, in addition to their pisco cocktails. I honestly don't think you can go wrong here, they are just consistently great.

Great place! I've been looking for a good Ceviche/Peruvian place in FTL and this one definitely earned the 5 stars. Great flavor in everything we tried. Staff super friendly! Definitely will come back and recommend to others. I ate the ceviche too fast that didn't even take the picture but the Salimar ceviche had the most flavor out of the sampler we had.

This was my first time having Peruvian food. I will definitely be going back. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The food and drinks are delicious, fresh, and fulfilling. The staff was so kind, we had about three or four different serves asking us how we were doing all the time. It was nice to know that they cared about our experience. I would definitely go back to try other dishes.
