Had the 2 meat plate with tri tip and brisket. 2 sides were beans and potatoes. Everything on the plate was very tasty and has a very good flavor. Open atmosphere and a very friendly staff. Recommend this restaurant with 5 stars and I will be returning. Enjoy �
Where do I start?
Let’s start with just walking in the door; the smell of mouth watering bbq hits you as soon as the doors open. 2. The welcoming from the staff is inviting. They genuinely want to be there. 3. Service is fast and efficient & the dining room is clean. 4. The food is delicious. Each item we (family of 7) ordered was tender, juicy and extremely tasty. It was like cutting through softened butter. The sides were just as tasty as the main dish. If only we lived closer ... dang .... � .... another trip just for this bbq is in the plans.
If we had to judge this by other bbq places; Famous Dave’s and Big Bubbas are no longer in the top running. Move over a new “sheriff is in town.”
Melt in your mouth good! Mac and cheese was so creamy and dreamy. The chicken was so tender and had a delicious smoky flavor. Definitely will be back. Staff was super friendly as well. Great addition to Oakhurst!
Their food is Amazing!!! We have always searched for a great place to eat in Oakhurst and we have finally found it! We will be back again!!
I was here on Wednesday and some back today. First time in was the brisket sandwich. This time it was the tri-tip. Delicious smoke flavor. There’s a tangy house sauce for you if you desire. What great service too. They took the old Alice’s and revamped it.
Best ribs I've ever had and the macaroni and cheese is to die for sprinkled with bacon , yum now I'm hungry, Adam your barbecue is a hit !
The best Brisket sandwich, and they have 805 on tap !! I will be back to try everything on their menu.

Excellent food and very friendly and attentive staff. Meat had a nice "smoky" flavor and the fries with meat and cheese were awesome! A bit pricey though - it was $75.00 for the photos below but was on vacay so tend not to consider that as much. If we were local we would probably only return on a special occasion because of the cost which is also why it has 4 stars. But highly recommend if you're looking for good BBQ.
Ordered takeout last night & had to come back again tonight because it was so good! Tonight we ordered a brisket sandwich with twice baked potato casserole, fries, broccoli salad & the yummiest strawberry pound cake with ice cream.
We stopped by to try the BBQ, since we're a family we recommend trying this Mammoth platter! The flavors in all the meats, the smoke flavors added just the perfect BBQ food! Highly recommended! Great staff and friendly atmosphere.
Saw this bbq house on the guide from hotel. Their meats are really tender and smoky! I also like the potato salads. Broccoli salad even has apple and crane berry, which really mitigate the oily taste of meats. I came here alone this time but I shall bring my friends with me next time when to visit Yosemite!
Hands down the barbeque I've had in California, that I can remember. The ribs were perfectly tender, the sausage smoky and flavorful, and the briscut delectable. The centerpiece of it all had to be my mom's baked sweet potato. I've never seen a potato so big in my life, and that was before it was loaded with delicious toppings. Ended up eating it for lunch the next day. Mmm.
On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the prices were very reasonable.
Mouth watering! The food here was so good. Juicy, tender, flavorful! Staff was all very nice, wasn't too busy when we went and it was all so clean. Would eat here again!
Amazing food and good service! We wanted to try new food while in Oakhurst and found Smokehouse 41 BBQ, it was the best decision to come here. I ordered the Dirty Frites and the 3 Meat Plate, it also comes with two sides! This was the perfect food for the cold weather and we will definitely be back here again. I highly recommend you check this place out and get the Dirty Frites, you will definitely want to come back for more!

Brisket was tender and melt in your mouth. The tritip was to die for and the ribs were a fall off the bone heaven.
It’s cafeteria style line. You order your meat first, then your sides and pay at the register.
Try the jalapeño Mac’n’cheese. It sounds strange but oh so good. They provide bbq sauce at the table so you have everything you could want.
The carver was so friendly and even let us try a bit of brisket. All the staff was great. The guy cleaning up the tables was so sweet and kept checking up on us.
Can’t say enough great things. They are always busy so be gracious with them. If you are in a hurry try another place but definitely worth the wait.
