Pep's is a local sports bar and restaurant with large sports bar amenities while still keeping the neighborhood-like atmosphere. There are TV screens everywhere! The food is really good and, for the most part, not too expensive. Plus they give you large portions. I usually have to take part of it home! I do think their desserts are a little on the expensive side (but they're really good!). They also have takeout/delivery which is so convenient! They do, however, charge a $1.99 fee for delivery.

I moved to Oakdale 6 months ago and I loved this place ever since but today was probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. I place a pickup order for a burger and hot pepper cheese balls was told 20 minute wait. I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes after that and expected to wait a little bit for my food since I was early. I end up waiting 35 minutes in the restaurant. Now normally I wouldn't think much of it just assume they're busy but while waiting a gentleman sat down next to me and ordered a burger. After about 10 or 15 minutes he received his burger and I was still sitting there waiting for my carryout order which at this point I have been waiting 45min. Then finally after 55 minutes I got my food had to leave Right away so I wasn't late for work I checked my food when I got in the truck and realized the food was cold like it's been sitting around. All I was told in the restaurant was they were busy but that makes no sense since I watched people order and receive their food while I was waiting for mine. All I ask is for some honesty and take responsibility for your actions I should not have been treated like that and it's going to be hard to go back.

After driving 25 m home to eat a Pittsburgh fish sandwich They gave me a fish sandwich with just cheese on it nothing else McDonald’s look better than that .. when I call the lady like it’s only a 3 dollar diffference there nothing I can do .. but want me to drive alll way back down there and back .. lol who paying for my gas I will never go there again and check your order before you leave ..

Pep’s is one of our go to lunch spots since we work nearby. My colleagues and I have always had a positive experience here though sometimes there is a bit of a wait (I attribute this to the fact that there’s only one waitress/bartender on duty during lunch times and she has to attend to a number of other patrons as well). The food is ALWAYS delicious! I especially like coming Monday for the burger special (bleu and BBQ are my favs!) and Wednesday for the wings special. The burgers are really good and the wings are even better (some of the best in the greater Pittsburgh area). We’ll keep coming back because we love the food.

Pizza is absolutely delicious!! The best pizza I've had by far.. but I don't really enjoy the attitude when I call from some girl that sounds like she's in high school... one time I called to confirm they got my note about having credit for marinara because last time I paid for it and they didn't bring me any. Well she had a huge attitude problem and then after a good pause she said ya I see it I try to say thank you and she hangs up in my face. That is rude and disrespectful and honestly makes me not want to order from there again...
