Ihop

Had a great experience this morning. Our server, I believe her name was Rara, she was all over it and very kind to boot. Service was prompt, courteous, and food was among the best I've seen. Visually, temperature-wise, and the taste were all great. Believe it or not, it basically looked like the pictures on the menu (guest is vegetarian so I flipped that bacon to my plate!). From top to bottom, everyone was doing well or the experience couldn't have been so complete.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. I came in during late morning with my family and was promptly seated. Our food came quickly and was cooked to perfection. I was especially impressed with the French fries and the Mexican burrito. The restaurant was clean and the server was attentive despite it being moderately busy.

It was easy to find and spot this IHOP. We were seated and gave our order. To add chocolate chips to our pancakes, it was a $1.99 upgrade, which I think it a lot to just add some chips on there but I did it. They don’t have a breakfast menu for kids so we ordered the 2x2x2 and I got the smokehouse combo. My husband got the Fajita Bowl. For a family of 2 adults and 1 kid under 2, our total without tip was $51! I don’t remember IHOP being this expensive but I don’t think we would dine at IHOP again because that was expensive for what we got.

8/2021 Food was good. They were shorthanded and slammed with people for a Friday morning. Staff was ok. Restrooms were ok. But the food was typical fare. Just took a very long time to get waited on and then the food was a while. Almost 90 minutes there and we were traveling. So did not want to be that long.

The food was just horrible! I hadn't gone to an IHOP for many years. I don't recall the food being so bad. You order an omelet that cost you 15 you exorcism it would have done goodness to it. I could barely find and meats, veggies and cheese. It was made into a big fat omelet, filled with hash brown? I'd rather go get a breakfast menu at a fast food joint. One extra star for the servers who tried their best.

Ordered our meal for pickup on Wednesday. 3 meals and 2 sides and 2 shakes. My son shows up to pick up the order and he's told they don't have ice cream, can they sub it out for some other drink? Ummm NO. a 6+ $ EACH milkshake is not the cost of a soft drink but... whatever... in order to get the refund, they need the manager, who wasn't gonna be in until Friday morning. Fine. Get home with the food, and his French Toast is missing. Try calling, no one answers the phone. Great. Call in on Friday to speak to the manager, 8 times during her supposed 9-12 shift and NO one answers the phone ever. Son went in this morning and they only refunded him for the milkshakes they couldn't provide not the missing Strawberry Banana French Toast. Stole money from us. Can't be bothered to answer the phone EVER. Place wasn't even busy. NOPE. Hard pass. We'll never be back and I highly recommend you all take your hard earned money elsewhere where they actually value your patronage and don't steal from customers. Shame because the one in Apple Valley where we used to live was great, ordered all the time.

The food was good, ordered on the phone for pickup. The ordering process took longer than expected and the order was mostly correct. I wonder why it's so difficult to substitute American cheese for cheddar? I'd hoped that speaking directly would do the trick. Nope. Still had cheddar cheese inside with American cheese on top. Thus 4 stars.

This is our 'new, old' breakfast place. We went to a IHOP years ago when we were traveling to soccer tournaments with our boys. We had a couple bad meals so hubby refused to go back. We had a morning meeting that was planned for IHOP, so hubby said he'd eat there 1 more time. Breakfast was great. Service was good. We've been there several times since and the food is great. Hubby even plans to go there often now.
