Best pizza I have ever had! Usually I only eat two slices of pizza and today I nearly ate half of a pizza. I love the crust too, and it’s not to thick. The crust is perfect! Our waitress was super nice and caring. I also love the cozy vibe the place gives off, including the awesome decorations. Definitely will be coming back again!!

What's in your brown paper bag?.. A delicious golden pie of pizza says anyone who's got takeout from Big Ed's. This place is a premium place to grab a bite to eat if you're in Oak Ridge. And if you're not in Oak Ridge is the perfect excuse to go! Yes it's worth the drive. They have great indoor seating and a lot of staff to make sure you're taken care of. This place hits the spot after a good long day riding at windrock!

Hubby and I came here tonight (Saturday) for dinner. Well worth the drive from Halls and the wait as it's probably one of the best BBQ chicken pizzas I've EVER had!!

My parents moved to Oak Ridge, TN in 1970 and Big Ed’s had just opened in their current location. Growing up in the 80’s my dad told me that they never changed a thing from back then - the red and white tablecloths, the paper plates, the paper bags for to go orders, and of course the spectacular pizza. Fast forward 50 years and the ownership has moved forward a generation but the atmosphere and the pizza are the same - in my mind perfect all around. The fresh dough creates a thin crust that is light and airy but still has enough strength and texture to hold up to the Special - Ham, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, Onions, and Green Peppers - the best item on the menu. I am glad to say everything tastes as good as it did when I ate it way back in the 70’s and 80’s and I hope it never changes.

Still the best pizza that I've personally ever had in Tennessee. To me it has a little bit of a New York atmosphere, the vibe of the restaurant, and the pizza itself. They keep it simplistic; meaning that they stick to what they know best..pizza, and beer. Definitely stop by if you're in oak ridge, and in the mood for good pizza. I don't imagine you'll regret it.

The place is legendary, it's hard to beat the pizza and all the different beers they offer if someone wants a cold one. It is always a packed house and for good reason. But that being said it cost me $40 for a Coke and a Large 3 topping pizza with the tip. Amazing pizza and good service, but it's pricey.

Pizza was excellent but front of the house staff person not so much. We just moved here and decided to try this place for first time. The first person we encountered when entering was not friendly or welcoming and did not greet us or offer any help or suggestions. My wife and I decided to still try because it sounded good and got great reviews. Glad we did because the pizza was delicious but definitely need work on customer service.

Best pizza in Oak Ridge. Thin crust style good flavor, good amount of toppings choices. I love all the history inside the pizza joint you can get lost just looking at what a main stay this place has even to the community since the 80's. The pizza is also really good for a pizza joint hands down the best in Oak Ridge. The one thing that's weird is pizza comes in a bag but you can I think buy a box for 25 cents. If you are looking for a good old school pizza joint go here don't waste time with the chains.
