Kinslahger Brewing Company

Finally made it out to Kinslahger and it did not disappoint! The beers were tasty and refreshing, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff is top notch friendly! Really glad to have this place close to home! This place is great to this seeking true to style beers. For some pretzels to-go too! Can't wait to come back! Anyone claiming this place doesn't have high standards on cleanliness, hasn't actually been here or know anything about beer - let alone what it takes to make good, clean beers. Kinslahger uses Star San to disinfect their taps, Google it if you don't know Anyway, for real, check this place out if you're looking for great beers at a chill spot! 🍻

Kinslahger is first and foremost a top notch brewery. Their lagers are excellent! My personal favorite is the Prohibition Pils, and they always have something seasonal on tap. Beyond the excellent bier, they have created a community gathering place that is relaxing and comfortable. I admire their commitment to the community - both the brewing community and their local neighborhood. Great people making great beer in a great place.

We've been going to Kinslahger since they first opened and it's such a great place. We enjoy their standard flagship brews as well as their creative Weekly Kinsman, Oktoberfests and other special releases. It's a cozy space to hang out when you can (or pick up beers to go when you can't!) and the owners and staff are very friendly. Support this great small business and drink local!

Kinslahger, for my money, brews some of the very best beer in Chicagoland. Their Dunkel is probably the most authentic you'll find on this side of the Atlantic, and the specialty brews (IPL: India Pale Lager is my fave at the moment) are ever-changing and all worth your while. They also do occasional weekly variations, such as barrel-aged or other flavored varieties, and so far, I've liked pretty much all of them. The taproom is my favorite place to spend a Sunday afternoon. Great beer, great people!

Delicious artistic craft Brews cold-brewed with a commitment to the craft. Local pub environment with local snacks and an old world feel. Very community-oriented. Creative unique beers. Friendly service. Is definitely worth heading south of the freeway and feeling this relaxed community environment with delicious beers made with love.

These folks are the real deal! They are serious about their beer and it shows in the consistency and quality. They are also serious about their customer experience. I’ve been to the tasting room on a number of occasions. I’ve never felt overlooked even on their crowded days. Even as a tasting room, there’s still the feel of a neighborhood pub (and I have pretty high standards for that category!). I’ve bought their beer off-site as well and am pleased to see more and more of their great beers on the shelves around town. So, if you want to feel like you’re stopping at a friends house to taste their latest labor of love, give it a try.
