Shake Shack Oak Brook

Me and my wife go to Oak Brook Mall and pass by this place but never stopped to try them out. She's a advent burger lover and I'm an advent every food lover 😂😂. We finally gave it a try and we love it. I had a bacon avocado cheeseburger with all the trimmings and she loves the basic when it comes to burgers, oh, with onions. She luuuuuuvs onions. I don't too much care for raw onions but caramelized onions I will smash like HULK. They so far have the very best variety of burgers and it's so convenient to order without long lines because their system is computerized. Walk up, tap the order gadget and commence to, "Doing it you way" Whahlah!!! Your order is fresh and hot at your table. Oh you also have to grab a small stand up number number post after you order and they'll bring it directly to your table whether eating in order take-out. Believe me, it easier than I'm explaining. So, we'll be returning soon and maybe sit and eat the next time but believe me when I tell you, the food is fresh, tasty and the service is great. Stop in.

We keep coming back to this place mostly because of the great quality of the food. Food always comes out hot and fresh, and I enjoy seeing what kind of different lemonade they've came up with every couple months. This time I tried the pomegranate sweet basil drink and it was a bit sour but that is to be expected with a pomegranate drink, nothing a little Splenda couldn't fix. Cheese fries were nice and hot, the fries crispy and salty, the cheese ooey and gooey. And man, those chicken bites were amazing I almost bit my own finger. The chicken bites need to be bigger. I got BBQ sauce with them but honestly it didn't need it, they were so good I could have ate them without any sauce. The burger is probably up there with my favorite burgers of all time. The patty is smashed but still juicy and the toppings are always fresh. The bun is so soft but sturdy enough to hold 2 patties, cheese, tomato, onion and if you'd like, bacon. Can't wait to come back and try a new drink for the spring time.

The food was delicious, burgers 🍔 are an on the smaller side however satisfying. The sweet buns complement the grilled patties well and I especially liked the mayo combination they used on there burgers. Fries were perfectly fried nice and crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. Before I end the review wanted to add that the shakes are also really good and that it is kid friendly and spacious inside.

I gave a 4 star only because I wasn't able to try a shake due in no part to the restaurant. However from what I had, I'm sure my review will upgrade to a 5. Nonetheless, to what I actually had. I had the double smoke shack with everything, and the burger was not small, nor overly huge, just right for the appetite. The patties weren't flattened and left in their expanded state, and juicy with every bite. I also had the cheese fries, which were a little salty, but were fresh, and crisp, and the cheese was hot and gooey which I liked. I also had the mango passionade lemonade which was not bitter with just the right sweetness. I'm just waiting to get back to try some shakes.
