Always great fresh food, with comfortable chairs and a cozy dining atmosphere.
The restrooms are clean and they don’t have trash underneath the tables, having the fact that they have kids in the restaurant, too, they make sure always that their guests are treated very well and in clean conditions, served.
My favorite meal there is their salmon Caesar salad, the most delicious cheeseburger and their rich chocolate cake.
I’ll always stop by and eat there while I enjoy a shopping spree at Oakbrook Mall.
I recently visited Beatrix in Oak Brook Mall and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. As a vegan, I was thrilled to see the variety of options they had on their menu. One dish that stood out to me was the Chicken Bebe. Despite being a vegan option, it tasted incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The combination of spices and textures made it a truly delicious choice.
Not only was the food amazing, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was also very inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself had a modern and stylish decor, creating a comfortable and trendy setting.
Overall, I highly recommend Beatrix to anyone looking for a restaurant with great vegan options. The Chicken Bebe was definitely a highlight for me, but I'm sure there are many other delicious dishes to try. Whether you're a vegan or not, Beatrix offers a wonderful dining experience that is worth exploring.
OK experience. Food presentation far outpaced the flavor and temperature. While plated nicely, the ravioli was just warm and the fries were on the cold side, despite us being one of a few tables in the restaurant. However, our server and the manager remedied the situation appropriately, which was appreciated. Aside from the temperature, the taste of the food was… a bit bland. Mushroom quinoa burger came out hot but not for the tastebuds. Same with the fries, which were crispy but light on flavor. Overall, I’d say Beatrix is worth a try for the cool atmosphere and wide array of entrees. But the food, especially as you stray from the menu staples, can be hit or miss.
We tried different things on the brunch menu and everything tasted delicious. Lemon pancakes are a must try, fluffy and sweetened enough. 🔥Service was a bit slow and it took about an hour to get our food after placing the order.
Beatrix replaced the swanky seafood restaurant Reel Club, and it's a fairly worthy successor. Brunch, lunch and dinner all have tempting entreés, but the real draw is the pastry bar and the legendary caramel pie. Service is good and ambiance is nice, but it's not quite the same level as the Beatrix in Fulton Market. Be sure to take home a giant cookie!
Classy place for a work lunch. Menus were concise and waitresses were friendly. I got the turkey French dip and they forgot my dip so I ate half of it without it by the time they brought it out. Would recommend coming back!
The ambiance is lovely, service is great, and those fluffy pancakes are a treat. However, the overall dishes were somewhat underwhelming (we came here for brunch). Despite a 30-minute wait, both my husband and I chose "eggs your way" with poached eggs, but they were served as fully cooked eggs, not runny as expected, which was a bit disappointing.
We are regulars at Beatrix- it offers a nice selection of menu for meat lovers and enough options for vegetarians.
The service is prompt, atmosphere great and the food quite exciting.
The mushroom teriyaki bowl and hummus are our favorite options.
It’s a lovely place! We went as a group of moms to chat and catch up. We enjoy our time as we had a nice brunch (I had egg whites burrito with mimosa, and I had a hot chocolate that tasted fenomenal). The service was good (Gracie was awesome and very attentive with us). I really enjoy and felt comfortable here. Highly recommend
First time trying Beatrix, and my family and I were very impressed with every single food we ordered- from pastries to main dishes. We went at lunchtime. I got the miso glazed salmon, which was perfectly cooked. The winners would be the hot honey brussel sprouts, lemon burst cookie, and iced banana joe. We loved it so much that we’re going back tomorrow to try their breakfast menu!
Amazing fresh food and drinks. The ingredients are high quality and fresh in unusual and exotic combinations. The food is all around excellent (I highly recommend the pistachio crusted whitefish) and the craft cocktails are made with fresh squeezed juices. Excellent desserts as well!
This was our first time at Beatrix and it was an AMAZING experience. Not only is the food some of the best I've had, but the service was impeccable and the dining room is lovely. You have a clear view straight to the kitchen, which to me is always a good sign for cleanliness, freshness, and quality.
We were here for a business meeting/breakfastand every single person at the table raved about their food. Hands down though, the baked French toast. It is out of this world! I definitely recommend checking this place out for business or for pleasure if you're in the area.
Went here with friends for brunch over the holidays and we really enjoyed our time here. The atmosphere is casual but also upscale. I really enjoyed the chicken enchiladas as well - they were recommended by a friend and did not disappoint! One point was taken off for the underwhelming and watered-down hot chocolate, it’s definitely not anything special. Otherwise had great service and experience, I will definitely be back!

Had a great table with a couch on one end and it’s so well decorated inside with a great view of the kitchen.
Had a wonderful attentive waitress who refilled my coffee and families sodas multiple times!
Food was simply amazing: I had the chia seed pudding with Brown Sugar Bacon, and my family members had the breakfast sandwiches and baked fresh toast all to die for! Ended off with some deliciously prepared Kouign amann and cookies :)
If you're strolling around the Oak-brook Terrace mall for some shopping and craving some comfort food. You should definitely check this place out.

I'm so glad I don't have to drive to downtown Chicago to dine at a "pretty" restaurant with great food. The servers were accommodating and friendly every time I visited. I usually don't get salads when I eat out but the salad here is AMAZING! I love the overall atmosphere and the coffee bar with comfy furniture is a huge plus. This place is great for a romantic dinner date or brunch with the girls!
Came here for a lunch and had a lovely experience. This is such a pretty restaurant with amazing food. The ambience of the restaurant has a modern cafe vibe. Loved the interiors, so well decorated.
I loved the lunch menu selection and they have quite a few vegetarian options. We started with the fresh squeezed juice, they were so refreshing . We then had the vegan tortilla soup, wild mushroom teriyaki bowl, and the blackened fish tacos . The soup was absolutely delicious, it was so comforting. The mushroom teriyaki bowl was a 10/10, it was bursting with the flavors. The tacos were really good as well. Loved the seasoning on the salmon.
Overall it was a wonderful lunch. The service was great. Can't wait to go back and try the baked goods.
It was a great little bite to eat! I was slightly disappointed with the french toast, it was still good but a little hard to eat and the strawberry was meh. Besides this, great vibes in there too, and super good bacon!
