Global Brew O'fallon

I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the parking lot, and wanted a good place to get some beers. This place came up on Yelp and was super close, so I tried it out! The interior was very large and the seating was plentiful. The beer selection is HUGE, and has choices from all over the country, so I was able to try out a bunch of different styles. They do flights, which is also helpful. Unfortunately, they don't do half pours if you only want a little of one or two. The food selection is decent, but not very large. It's standard fare like sandwiches and fries. The service was quick and friendly, but then again it was pretty empty that night. I would definitely come back here if I stayed nearby. It's a solid choice if you're thirsty!

I happened upon this place by chance while I was waiting to pick up pizza next door. Talk about it being my lucky day! The Global Brew Tap House was in the home stretch of their Harry Potter event. Costume and trivia contests all Harry Potter themed to perfectly match the Harry Potter decor! They had food and drink choices from that famous Hogworts world so I just had to try the butter beer. It was amazing! It tasted more like a butterscotch mixed drink that a flavored beer /drool. The staff was super friendly even while busily handling customers so A+ there. I chatted with a few patrons and discovered this place had a fiercely loyal following and that spells success for this innovative bar. One of the bartenders told me they change up the theme regularly. I can't wait to see what's next.

The staff is super friendly and sweet. Everyone and the place itself, was very laid back and easy going. Good thing they aren't known for their food because it left a little to be desired, except for the tots, those were absolutely perfect. A better tot has never existed, I swear. I would definitely go back, it's a comfortable, chill place to hang out and have a good time.

Good selection of Midwest and European beers. The place has Founders' Nitro CBS on tap so I think I am legally required to give a rating no lower than 4 stars. The beer selection is very good - 4 stars. It would have been 5 if they had local brews on tap - there were only a few Shady selections in cans. The bar tenders need a bit more knowledge on what they have on tap but the service was quick and attentive. The food menu is Farley limited but looks good. I will be back soon to check that out too.

Good beer selection food is good but not a big selection. The big thing is most tables are wabbly and makes it hard to eat/drink. I saw several people trying to adjust the tables. Good place to hang out and eat bar food. Big downside is there was no printed beer menu. You have to look it up on your phone and you can't see all the selections st 1 time. Hard to choose when you can't see everything available at one time.
