Absolutely fantastic!! I had the squid ink fettuccine with shrimp and capers and my friend had the lamb shank. Both were delicious. The waiter was so helpful and friendly, wine list was very thorough and food is on point. You have to go!!

At first the menu needs to be re-read due the its’ uniqueness. The mussels, meatballs and cauliflower appetizers were all extremely tasty and enough for 4 to share.
My monkfish dinner was outstanding. Same reviews from my party regarding salmon and lamb chops. Everything was cooked to perfection in texture and taste. Our waiter was excellent.
Definitely don’t miss this restaurant. A must.
This is my favorite restaurant anywhere. Great date place, but sat at the bar alone for the best sliders I ever had and a glass of wine (Priorat ). Might do the same tomorrow. Wow!

You don't have to go to NYC to get an incredible meal. Chef Anthony offers a superb combination of taste and elegance without the snobbish attitude of restaurants in this class. I highly recommend this place!
Love this place! Consistently excellent food and service. Loved everything I have ever ordered and they always recommend a great wine pairing. Some of the best risotto I have ever had! Bartender also makes excellent martinis.
Michelin star ⭐️ restaurant on the budget !!! Anthony is absolutely brilliant chef 👨🍳 . He creates food from he's soul . He's an artist !!! Eleven Madison or Jean George got nothing on him !!!! If he has anything special on the menu absolutely try it even if you not into the ingredients 100% guarantee you will fall in love with whatever he'll make it . Great drinks including one of the best dirty martini's I've ever had. Have been there over ten times and have had confidence to order something different almost every time and have never been disappointed. Service is second to none. Highly recommend.

Velo is a quaint locale located just off the main drag of nyack. We had a reservation for restaurant week at 7 pm on a Thursday and it was quite crowded. There are parking lots just a few hundred yards away. We went for restaurant week and we're served a 3 course meal. The mushroom risotto was tasty and savory. The butternut squash was tasty without being too heavy. The swordfish was delicious, though a little heavy on the shallots. Portion was also a tad small. Braised short rib was very tender and paired well with honey mashed sweet potato. Peanut butter cheesecake was tasty (coming from a non-cheesecake fan). Fair prices. Adequate service from our waiter.
Loved everything! We had the mussels, wild mushroom pasta (strozzapreti) and the skate and short ribs for entrees. We will absolutely be back!
Love this place. Food is amazing and excellent service. Had the Fried Oysters appetizer and Black Sea Bass both specials tonight. I can still taste it. My wife had a 1/2 portion of Cevetelli and the Hangar Steak and she enjoyed both. So did I (tried both of hers as well).
Very comfortable and homelike place for the customers. Their decoration is adorable. Foods are served so carefully and quick. Recommended for foodies. Some of the foods you can try are Chianti Risotto, Braised Short Ribs, Beignets and so on.
Love love love. I am SUCH a picky eater and this restaurant alone has broadened my palette immensely. Here I've tried mussels, rabbit, wild mushroom, lentils, among other things and absolutely loved every dish. They won't let you swap out anything in their dishes and they are totally correct in doing so. Every flavor in each dish is perfectly combined. The staff and manager are so friendly, knowledgeable about every dish, and provide excellent service. I have come twice and will absolutely be back again.
This place is an absolute neighborhood gem, with amazingly fresh and unique dishes and outstanding wine list. The service was also impressive, as our waiter was able to explain the dishes to a T and provide wine suggestions that paired wonderfully. If you're around for the winter months I absolutely recommend the venison and speak with your waiter on your wine choice to be sure you're on the same page. This place is inviting and warm and worth a trip for a special night out.
Great food and good wine selection. The only negative is that since the place seems to be very popular and often full, it can get fairly loud, so carrying a conversation could be a bit challenging. But food and service are both top notch.
