Gotta chance to talk with uncle D himself! I’m glad to see a fellow southerner up here in Connecticut! Awesome guy with some awesome food! Got the Pork Mack attack…. Was damn good! Just like we make it down in Texas! Really took me home! 10/10 the best BBQ in Connecticut!

Plenty of seating on a nice cool day. Sweet yes is flavorful and smooth just like in Texas. Brisket is good. I like mine with lots of fat but they do not have burnt end. This is a Covid 19 review. Uncle D’s is a great choice for bbq. We ordered a pound of the pulled chicken and a pound of the brisket, each with their own sauce on the side. I wish they had more sauces to offer but I can not complain. For the price of the food, I thought we received a good quantit

It's a tiny joint with awkward seating during the colder months. We had the beef brisket & pulled pork each with the Jerk flavor & Mustard, the BBQ beans, Mac & Cheese, & Cajun Slaw.

Food is great! Most authentic southern flavor I've had since leaving Virginia...other than the clearly from Connecticut customer service I received. (I gave her a pretty Connecticut attitude though) - a little overpriced. 21 bucks for lunch was steep 💔
This is a small BBQ shack with little indoor seating, but plenty of seats on the covered outdoor patio. Located right off the highway there is plenty of parking and is easy to find. Also, the food is very very good. I enjoyed chopped brisket, ribs, and chicken and found them all phenomenal. The

Uncle D's food truck is southern BBQ on the go. Since it's mobile, there isn't a huge menu but there is still a variety of choices. The staff was friendly and in spite of a line to order, the food came out quickly.
I love this place, the service here is fast and friendly. A good place to bring the family or the perfect food to bring home wen you dont feel like cooking at home. The meat quality is far beyone my expectations, over all a well deserved 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Everything we ordered was great. The Mac and cheese with pulled pork was awesome. I enjoyed the chicken sandwich as well. My mom loved the baked beans. A nice gem in norwich and we will definitely order again.
Second visit to this restaurant. Uncle D is a class act, he runs a wonderful establishment with wonderful people. The food was delicious and consistent with the 1st time.
