The Hoot - Northport - Photo album

The food was absolutely delicious. Must try their blueberry pancakes. The wait was a bit long but the food made it absolutely worth it. We sat outdoors. Ambiance both inside and outside was homey. The service was excellent.
We loved The Hoot so much we had breakfast there for the three days we were in Belfast! Carolyn was our outstanding server each day! The Shakshuka with lamb was incredible! The Tuscan Farro Bowl was delicious! Not to be outdone, the Blueberry Pancakes were stupendous! Highly recommend!
Amazing food! I came here for brunch on a Sunday so it was very busy. Had to wait a bit to order and for my food but like I said, crazy busy. But when I got my food... Oh wow it was fantastic. The cornmeal waffles were so light and crunchy. The scrapple (my first time having it) was delicious.
My wife and I stopped for brunch on our way from Bath to Acadia Bay Inn in Sullivan. We ate on the lovely outdoor patio/deck. The brunch menu is very creative with many riffs on eggs benedict among other delights. We enjoyed the brunch so much we returned two nights later (1hr 10 min drive each way)
Brunch was wonderful even without reservations. We walked in 10 minutes before closing and were seated. The menu is innovative and very tasty. Our service could have been a bit more friendly. We would definitely return for the quality food.
Very nice patio to enjoy an outdoor breakfast! We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and the hash and eggs. Both were excellent. Prices are very reasonable, service was great. One of the better breakfast places we have tried! Will be back!
The food and the service is great. Good choice on the menu...so nice to be offered proper food instead if the lobster role, burger and fries elsewhere on this coast. It's great interior too. I'd have given 5 stars but for the music. I don't know what was playing but it was harsh and rapid. Its not
Simply put: outstanding! I rarely find a place that does everything right in my opinion but this place did. Immediately got seated in a nice little outdoor area, ice water and glasses ready at the table. The menu left no questions with its description of items and the wait staff was helpful as well.
My wife and I visited this lovely restaurant for brunch around 11:30 on a Monday. It was not super busy and we were seated immediately. We ordered the Cuban Breakfast and the Breakfast Burrito. We both thoroughly enjoyed the dishes that were packed with flavor and were appropriately portioned. W
Wonderful little eatery. Full farm to table is always a great thing in my book. I had the Smoked Ham Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. The alcohol drink menu was equally stunning. I enjoyed a raspberry puree mimosas. All the staff was very nice and helpful
