One of the best nights to visit Sunnyside is on Thursdays when they serve up their delicious steaks. Easy way to order at the table, food and drinks arrived quickly, Food was very nice and competitively priced, the waiting staff were all really polite and friendly. We sat in courtyard part of garden and there were plenty of tables available even though it looked to be busy period. Tables outside were all nice and clean too. Didn’t go inside as didn’t need to. Will definitely be back.

I've seen a lot of changes at this pub over 30+ years. Last 10 years have been mixed and I refused to eat there anymore. However, a large group of us went for a cocktail session. The cocktail selection was OK, they were fine to drink and the pricing was competitive. We did risk ordering side dishes and these were nice, so maybe the latest staff and mgt have sorted out the kitchen. The pub has a nice decor and the gardens are large. Staff made a fuss of our dog. I will try eating there again in the future , fingers crossed and maybe add a star or 2 to my food rating.

Since the new management took over there has been a big improvement. Service in friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food has greatly improved which is a big plus as it had gotten very poor. Since this management team took over I have been 4 or 5 times and it has been an enjoyable visit each time, long may they keep up the good service.
