Was quiet on arrival due to hot weather and others choosing to sit outside or go to another pub with a garden . Staff were immediately attentive and were more than happy to help with choice of wine and offering a taste to make sure it’s what we’d like . we were very impressed with the wine, and the price.and the staff.
We had Sunday lunch, roast beef for me, turkey for my best friend Jon, we both loved the fact that it was served hot not Luke warm like some places and what everyone expects from a Sunday roast
We decided it was the best we’d had in a long time.
Service from all the staff was fantastic.
We also noticed that the empathy and familiarity with customers who must be regulars was a joy to see and rare in these days. Big shout out to Stanley who was the star of the day with his waiting skills.

Dog friendly and even came over with treats and water for our dog. was served by a lad called Harvey who was really accommodating and friendly. Food was really nice, Will definitely come back😊

The County is a classic favourite pub. Top notch food, drinks, and service. Sports viewing and music are always on point to suit the occasion, and the garden is massive!! Enjoy

I like this place. Comfortable and nice decor. You can actually have a conversation without shouting over loud music. You can be served at the bar or service brought to your table.
