Review La Fortuna - North Wilkesboro

This is my favorite place to eat authentic Mexican food! I always get Burria tacos or a taco salad with guacamole, rice and beans. It's never really busy so your food will always be delivered hot & fresh. The staff is wonderful and always ready to serve me when I come see them twice a week!

A friend recommended I eat here! It was so great! The food was wonderful and the server was very friendly. I very much enjoyed my visit and if I find myself in the area again I will definitely be back!

We drive a hour away for their torta Cubanas! We’ve been coming here for many years and they never disappoint! Highly recommend

I love this place! My husband and I eat here often. The food is always very good and service is attentive. I’ve ordered many things off the menu and haven’t had anything I didn’t enjoy. The prices are a little higher than some Mexican restaurants but I believe that’s due to better ingredients here.

Had 3 chicken tacos with avocado 🥑. Chicken was grilled without margarine or extra oils, as requested, to keep it healthy. Price was reasonable and the service was spectacular given that the waitress checked our table 5-6 times. I lost count... Lol. Another at my table had a awesome HUGE tricolor burrito with fresh pineapple pork that was equally delicious. Oh, I also requested pineapple on my tacos for no extra charge!

Great family owned and operated business with really good authentic food and prices . Would definitely recommend and I will be back soon

Hands down my favorite restaurant! The most authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Everything is delicious!

Picked one of the rare times when they wasn't busy. Great little restaurant you should try them out. Give their marinated pork with pineapple and try.

THE.BEST.TRES.LECHES.CAKE in N.Wilkesboro!! Authentic Mexican food and the portions are great. My friend usually gets to.go orders from here and we decided to sit and eat this time. The ACP had so much chicken and cheese compared to other restaurants. The rice portion was less than others but definitely plenty to fill you up. We ended up getting the frijoles (beans and cheese) dip and it was a large bowl. 👌 Flan was authentic as well. My friend got the quesaburria and always gets it to.go.- it is beef tacoes with a beef broth to dip them in. They also had a house green sauce and they even had valentina. Will be a frequent flyer here for many meals to come.

Absolutely delicious everytime. Kind service, they don't overdo it. Love the Al Pastor tacos.
