Miller's Ale House

Just when I had lost hope of having a great dining experience ever again, Miller’s changed that! Had an awesome dinner with great drinks and our waitress was phenomenal!! And let me tell you, I’ve never seen a general manager walk around and ensure everyone is satisfied and enjoying their time, very caring and attentive, I just had to ask for his name and write this review and thank you Josh!! You and your team are doing it right!! These days there’s a lot of negative going around everywhere so thank you for making our first dining experience in awhile delightful!!!

Nice vibe good food for reasonable prices and pretty fresh air, the service was really friendly which was pretty surprising because most restaurants you can tell who is putting on a fake face since they don't like they're job but that wasn't the case here. I would say my favorite part was probably the desert I ordered the brownie with my sister and we were surprised at how big it was for the price we paid it seemed like a whole separate meal on it's own but hey who's gonna complain about a big desert or food. My only regret was not being able to finish the browny and that we weren't given bags for our to go boxes but everything else was perfect so if you like warm tasty food and a environment with fresh air and a mood that's not too slow or too fast then I would recommend this restaurant.

It's a good place to watch sports and have something to eat, but like Illinois in general, it's not a good place to socialize at all. This is NOT Florida. This is Chicagoland. This is Illinois. And in Illinois, there is zero socializing, including at all Miller's Ale Houses statewide. You can NOT chat with your server here about your trip to Niagara Falls, Yosemite National Park, Yellowstone, or where ever you went like you can do in most of the Sun Belt. All communications here are strictly business only, just like at all restaurants in Illinois. And as a reminder, hugging a waitress here or at any restaurant in the State of Illinois constitutes the felony offense of Public Display of Affection which carries up to seventy-five (75) years in state prison for all involved.

Waitress was very kind always attentive to what we need. But the way miller’s are handling the situation with the customers waiting in the top of each other at the front door is a big No!!! they need to have lines with 6 feet apart to stand up and wait for our tables. They wasn’t ready to open yesterday Tuesday they look they was low in employees. The bathroom was a big huge mess paper towers in the floor the garbage can overflow. They need to have someone cleaning the bathroom at least every 20-30min-. The menu is very limited and they raised the prices $2-$3 more also the portions was less. They usually have free kids menu Tuesday’s but is look they don’t have it anymore. Hope they work better for our health safety. And have more employees handle the cleaning better. Because is one of my favorite places and I’m planing to go back.
