El Charro is a genuine hidden gem of a restaurant, with wonderful, authentic Mexican food, great drinks, and hands-down the best guacamole (regional) I've ever had. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Good food, friendly staff, and good prices. Have been there several times since they opened and have had no complaints.
I love this restaurant! Authentic Mexican food! The prices are unbelievable for all the food you get! My husband has NEVER been a fan of Mexican food, but this has now become our Friday night place. He loves the food. The best part is I never feel sick when I leave. I've tried different dishes every time I've gone and I'm never disappointed.

I always wait until after my second visit to review a restaurant. One visit does not always tell the story. El Charro is a gift to the North Providence (Marieville) area. The former location of the relocated Mozzarella's Restaurant on Mineral Spring Ave. has been nicely transformed into a Mexican dining hall. The main room feels cheerie and up lifting. It offers booths along the perimeter and tables with carved Mexican decor chairs that will leave a lasting impression. Most importantly the food will leave even more of an impression.
Visit one was chicken Enchilada and visit two was a build your own Burrito. I chose ground beef, onion and cheese. Both times I was making mmmmm sounds because the food is that good. The complimentary chips and salsa were outstanding. The ingredients taste like they were just pulled from a garden. And both times my entree was perfection. How do you make a burrito better than another restaurant? I can't tell you, but El Charro does it. Put this on your must list and try it out. Prices are so reasonable. Parking is easy. I live just a couple of miles north in Lincoln. I am thrilled to have El Charro so close by.

So smooth going down!!! ~ fajitas are excellent too!! The waitstaff is great too!! Clemente, Fernando and Sal..(he was one of our first waiters) they always make us feel at home and comfortable and deliver excellent service !!!!! We had a great time at 🌶Cinco DeMayo last night!!!! Came to El Charro using my RI Food Fights Taco Passport and was not disappointed!! I called to order takeout and the person in the phone was so friendly and helpful, and when I went to pick up my order everyone inside seemed so happy, patrons and staff alike. I had the chicken and steak tacos and holy moly they were so good! They both came with a generous amount of meat and the flavors were incredible. I am so looking forward to returning to try many other menu items. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere, large bar area, plenty of seating, and a large parking lot. So happy to have found this place.
Fresh, fresh, fresh!!!! I CANNOT believe this was the first time I went in for food. Family friendly. Patient servers. I honestly cannot describe the ambiance. You just have to go in for yourself.
I came here because a couple people recommended it. I had the medium house margarita and I loved it! For dinner I had the carnitas en salsa verde. It was good. I saw they have a big menu. They have chiles rellenos, which not a lot of places have that. I'll definitely come back.
The whole tilapia fish is fresh! The party gave an average rating of 3.5 overall. Easy parking, and decent service. The prices are very reasonable.

Best Mexican Food ever! I had their Tortilla soup and it is amazing with chunks of fresh Avacado, chicken and other veges. Great even for a diet just ask them to not put the tortilla strips on top. Fantastic refried beans and enchiladas and fajitas! Huge margaritas and delicious! definitely going to be a regular choice for me and my family.
