Lost Texan Bbq

If you find yourself in this part of North Ogden / Pleasent View, it is worth stopping for some great BBQ from Lost Texan. Didn't need to wait long at all for some tasty brisket! They have a good variety of sides that complement the meat. Nice atmosphere and friendly employees made a nice family experience.

Stopped in for a bite on a road trip to Eugene Oregon. BBQ was quite good! Mac n Cheese was also very tasty. Very friendly staff. Being from Texas we had low expectations but were very pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the food and the break from driving. If you're in the area give them a shot, I think you'll like it.

This place is awesome!! Food is amazing. Sliced brisket is tender and juicy and the ribs are fall off the bone cooked perfectly. The shredded chicken is tender and moist and packed full of flavor. This place has BBQ down to a science. All the sides are delicious. My favorites are the Mac and cheese and potato salad. Service sets the bar for small businesses to achieve. The owner, himself, checked on my twice to make sure I was doing good. The atmosphere is, well, in every sense of the word Pro-American. They support veterans and the armed forces as well as law enforcement and they are unapologetic about it. I respect and appreciate that.

There are a lot of pretenders around the Ogden area. These guys are the real deal. This is by far the best barbecue I’ve ever had anywhere. Fresh off the smoker. At this point I have tried the vast majority of their options and nothing has disappointed. This is worth going OUT OF YOUR WAY to try if you want good down home Texas style barbecue. The atmosphere employees and owner are all wonderful and friendly. Quick to refill your drink or strike up conversation. And if you are in anyway patriotic you will love the ambiance of this place. This is a must try for sure!!!
