I was hesitant to try this place after seeing so many bad reviews. But the menu looked good so I decided to go. And when I first got there and my party was seated I thought I was going to give a 1 star review. Myself and my party sat there for at least 15 minutes while people bussed empty tables. No one came and waited on us. So we sat, and we watched all the staff pass us by and not say a word. But then our night completely changed. A waitress named Sue came up and asked if we had ordered lemonade. We said we can't order lemonade if no one is waiting on us. She apologized and tried to find our waiter. Turns out he never realized he had us as a table. So Sue decided she would wait on us. Let me tell you she is an amazing person. She is a hard worker, funny as hell, and was one of the best waitresses I've ever had. The food ended up being delicious and the fried apple pie would be worth eating every day. But in all honesty Sue made my experience as great as it was and I hope that everyone could get her as a waitress when they come eat.
The best seafood in North Myrtle. Great value and the best of South Carolina's flavor. Clean restaurant and clean restrooms. Parking is accessible from all streets. We got to eat on the 2nd floor which provided and great view and atmosphere. Definitely ask for Mandy to be your waitress and make the Key West Colada a must to get. You will be surprised. Trust me.
The original Duffy St Seafood was located a quick 10 minute walk from our hotel. Place is small but full of atmosphere. They bill themselves as the Shack of Blues - the music was great! Crab legs and the buffalo shrimp were delicious as were the old bay potatoes. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
I had one of the best mahi-mahi fish dishes ever here. It was phenomenal. Service was good, I did think the restaurant could be cleaner but it had an A health rating so it wasn't that bad. Prices I though were very high too, but my fish made up for it. Would recommend for the fish of the day.
I do not eat seafood, but my family does. They enjoyed the crab legs and flounder. I loved the little hush puppies and the fried green tomatoes. The cornbread was delicious but the collard greens were not fresh, probably canned.
We did go to both locations during our trip. We enjoyed the one on Ocean Blvd so much more. It was brighter inside and service was better than the on on Main Street. The vodka lemonade that was on their menu was made stronger at the Ocean Blvd location but was mixed better at Main St location. Both are good... each one has some positives and negatives.
It was a great dinner. We hit the "happy hour" time frame and got our steamed shrimp for a steal! I highly recommend the crab dip, shrimp and grits were amazing, and my son raved over his low country boil.
Really good food for a moderate price. The fried shrimp are excellent and the wings were well above average.
The absolute best. Service was great, food was great. Awesome atmosphere. Menu offers a great variety. Hush puppies are the best. Extra plus from us is the biodegradable cups and paper straws. Will definitely make this a must stop for every visit. My husband loves seafood, I dont eat any. My quesadilla was great and didnt taste fishy at all. Thank you
The shrimp and grits were good. They weren't as creamy as I like them but they had a good flavor to them. Good atmosphere and good service!
We had a party of 6 and while all our food was good, the shrimp & grits was fantastic! I'm NOT a grits fan but loved this dish! The hush puppies were exceptional as well with corn kernels in them. The staff was friendly and service was quick.
We went for dinner with our 2- year- old grandson mainly because there was only a short wait. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They made sure to get the little one's food out quickly. Our meals were good and reasonably priced. Great service in a laid back beach Shack atmosphere.
This place is awesome. It's off the main path and well worth the ride to enjoy the food, atmosphere, and service. The guy at the bar was great and the food was very good. Tasteful until the last bite. I got the shrimp and grits, my family members each got the seafood boil and I tell you it was some really good eating. If you're looking for some good hospitality and great eating this is a place worth checking out.

We have eaten here twice now, and it is great every time. The service is always excellent, as well.
My husband loves the 2 item fried combination (fantail shrimp and flounder) and he substitutes the slaw for a salad. I got the regular shrimp and substituted the French fries for the boiled, seasoned red potatoes. The food is very big proportions. They also have a pretty good drink menu.
