Review Little Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant - North Miami Beach

You can't go wrong with this place. Fabulous place to eat traditional island food especially during covid. The food is delicious, portions are huge, and the large garden is a fantastic place to eat and chill out for a couple hours without being near anyone.

What a great Vietnamese food place, this is our second time here and we are fascinated with their food. Customer service is very good. Vietnamese iced coffee is the best.

"Vietnamese food and service at this place is super good." "Very tasty foods, large portions, great service and reasonable prices." "Best bubble tea in town, a lot of vegan/vegetarian options."

I visit this excellent restaurant many times since I like the good mood that is outline this place. The staff is exceptionally helpful and professional. The service is very efficient. Needless to say, the food they prepare is first-rate. I ate there often and I was always satisfied. The rate is decent. I recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

The service is efficient and no-nonsense. You come here for good food, great portions, and reasonable prices aka a solid meal, not for 5-star service. Note that they did recently raise prices by about $1 across the board in the current pandemic times, but they now also accept credit cards which is a big plus.

Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. The best around! Super nice staff too!

This place is nice and authentic. Cash only. They have fresh made Boba tea. We like the fried pork and my daughter usually gets shrimp noodles. I have also had the traditional pho and it was really light and tasty.

Food was good. Came in on a Saturday night. Seems the waitress wanted to leave work early or something or was in a rush. Bill came to 86.00. Gave the waitress 100.00 bill she didn't bring my change. When asked for change she started this whole speech " Oh dat nat foe mee" etc then pulled a 360 with an attitude!!!! Wtf!! How friken rude of her. Normally I tip 20%. I was going to add more to the change that she was suppose to bring me. Needless to say after she brought back my change she earned her less than 10% for being so rude. Wont be coming here anymore. Food was good customer service skills slacked !!! Geeez if she doesn't like working there then leave " Get the phuc outa there"

Totally Disgusted!. My best friend and I decided to have a bite here for lunch. I was shocked at how unfriendly the waitress was! It took 10 minute for us to receive water and lemon, smh! The best was yet to come!! Our bill came to $18.66 and I gave the head waitress(an older woman) my credit card, she stated" we do not accept credit cards", ok, no problem. I put my CC back in my wallet and retrieved money from my wallet. My friend handed her $20.00 and she quickly replied "NO TIP HERE" AND WALKED AWAY LEFT THE MONEY AND BILL ON THE TABLE! WOW! I had money to tip her but I guess she assumed we were not going o tip simply because we are African American. Why be so quick to tell us about a tip and throughout our dining experience we weren't even asked if we would like a refill? Upon finishing our meal the waitress shouted "TAKE OUT BOX"? That was extent of conversation we had with someone that s supposed to be waiting on us. Really?

We were shunned the entire time and I was going to tip her $5.00 anyway! It's a crying shame when your skin color depicts what type of service you receive. They need to get it together. I will never, ever dine at Little Saigon in North Miami Beach. HORRIBLE SERVICE and I honestly have had much better food elsewhere!! I cannot stand stupid people!

Don't know what to think. As I always order "bun" (vermicelli bowl) at any Vietnamese restaurant I go to, I can only compare that. Their selection of bun was very limited to one ingredient for each plate. If I wanted to add four measly shrimp to the pork it was $2 extra. It's was o.k., not amazing. My friends ordered other items which I tried. They too were just o.k. The spring rolls only contained some dry beef or pork, I don't know which. We drank iced tea and were taken back when they don't offer free refills!!! They don't accept credit cards, so we had to walk next door to the gas station for an ATM. And when we left the waitress screamed "one mo' dala", insisting we pay her more!!!!!

Great for Take Out. After reading the reviews from other diners, my husband and I decided to stop by Little Saigon for take out on our way home. In terms of aesthetics, the restaurant is small and not much to look at. I imagine that the kitchen must be small, given the refrigerated display case with various produce and rice cookers that greet you when you enter the front door.

The food was reasonably priced and the menu is fairly extensive. Those who are not familiar with Vietnamese food will benefit from the bilingual menu with pictures of most (but not all) of the items. Most importantly, the food was very good! The pho was one of the better ones we have had in South Florida. The lemongrass chicken was tasty as well. However, my husband ordered the marinated pork vermicelli, which was a little bland and dry. We plan to return for takeout in the future, but probably won't be dining in anytime soon.

Dirty, low self esteem. Ate there with trepidation. dirty . the bathroom was scary!
the servers are arrogant but the prices are cheap. will never go back. my chicken curry soup tasted like soap and the pork was all fat.

This place is garbage. My buddy came
Through and tried to speak Vietnamese and they didnt understand
A word...well we ordered pho...the bowl is small, the broth is crap... And it's not worth it. Drive the extra 10-15 miles to somewhere better for Vietnamese food

When I visit an ethnic restaurant and discover that 90% of the population eating there is of the same ethnic group, I am there! This is by far the best deal for the $ in Miami! True Viet food at affordable prices. Delicious pho soup and a great variety of appetizers, including Chinese dumplings, spring and summer rolls, chicken or beef skews, just to mention a few. Come single or go as a group, is a laid back and vet comfortable place for lunch or dinner. It has one big set back! You must have cash to pay, because credit cards are not accepted!

Fianlly got my pho fix in miami!. It's been a long time and i've been a little desperate. how nice to find this little pho house, though it is so much more! tonight i just had the pho, but i will be returning for other dishes in the future. it is a little hole in the wall, which i tend to adore because that also keeps the prices nice. service was perfectly asian: bring the food, it's good, give you what you need. fast and easy. i'm happy tonight.

Unpretentious but clean and neat. Food is quite good and reasonably priced. No credit cards but conveniently enough gas station next door has an ATM

Cheap Nom Nom. Pho Ga is a fresh & satisfying cure for the craving of a clear broth base soup. Pair with an order of the steamed meat buns, and top it off with a Green Apple Bubble Tea. Yummy!

This place is a totally waste of time. Do not eat here if u want anything authentic. This a Chinese ran restaurant posing as Vietnamese. They can't even spell Vietnamese correctly on the menu. That was our first sign that this place was going to be down the tubes. We order two dishes, Pho tai and a shrimp with vermicelli noodles. At first site, out dishes were off. Our Pho didn't even have scallions or accompanied with Thai basil. The soup base was too sour and flavorless. Our shrimp dishes was a little better. Major complaints on this dish is the portions. It had about 5 U50/60 shrimps and way too much garlic. We also order what we thought was green boba milk tea. Which later the waitress brought us a blended slushy with under cooked boba. Needless to say, but we walked out of there spent $20 bucks and were still hungry because we didn't eat the food. The service and pricing was the only thing that's acceptable in this place. This has to be the most disappointing food I ever had. I don't know how it got this rating on here. Note that we were visiting from Las Vegas, so we know what Pho and real Vietnamese restaurants are like. Only go here if you can't find a McDonalds or burger king. Use it as a last resort!!!

Not worth the time. If you're looking for a bargain, this is the place to go. My boyfriend and I are on a budget trip to Miami and I was craving Vietnamese food, so we decided to check this place out - it has wonderful reviews on Yelp and Google. We didn't expect anything wonderful when we got there since we had read about its hole-in-the-wall appearance. We were greeted almost immediately by a woman who never smiled and were seated in a room with no lighting. The waitress was quick on delivering menus, serving water, and taking the order. The menu is lengthy, offering more than 100 dishes and includes photos of dishes to aid customers unfamiliar with Viet cuisine. Our experience went DOWNHILL after this.
Not once did the waitress check up on us, ask how our meals were, nor refilled our drinks. The food was delivered about 30 minutes after we ordered - I got Pho Dac Biet and my boyfriend got Pho with duck. (Attn: This is a Vietnamese restaurant run by Chinese workers) My noodles were not cooked all the way and I frequently bit into a wad of hard noodles, and pho is not even supposed to be cooked with duck. The soup base was not bad, and for $14 for the both of us, it was quite a steal. We waited 1.5 hours for her to give us our ticket, and another .5 hour for her to come back to take our ticket. Everytime I walked up to the front desk, I was sent back by a woman saying, "You wait for her! You wait for her!" ("her" being our waitress). We ordered Iced Coffee and Che 3 Mau, which kept us in the restaurant longer. It took about 15 minutes for her to prepare our to-go drinks. When we were finally able to pay, the waitress DEMANDED her tip. "You tip me," she said. My boyfriend had already left the restaurant and headed to our car and I thought he tipped, but when we got to our car, the little Asian woman came running out of the restaurant, yelling at my boyfriend to tip her! He got out to tip her and apologized, but she just took it and never thanked him. Considering that were in the restaurant for three hours (not an exaggeration), I'd have to say that this was a TERRIBLE experience. If you're in Miami for a trip and have a schedule to tend to, don't even bother wasting your time in this place because the service is horrible!

Dinner for two $20.00 and some change.... I don't know of any place, where you can get Duck and Vietnamese rice in a portion that can feed up to three people for $20.00. The waitress was nice. The restaurant needs a makeover. The food came out very fast and it was EXCELLENT!!!! To be honest, I almost did not eat at this restaurant because of its appearance and it's extremely authentic vietnamese menu (the menu was like nothing i've ever seen or tasted) but my good old trusty partner in crime convinced me to give it a chance; and I had a flavorful experience.

Amazing food, decent price and service, not a fancy place but very worth it. Did I mention amazing food?

Great food and very low prices. The place is ugly, the service is also ugly but the selection of food and the quality are superb
