This is now our go to place for lunch. We picked up sandwiches ( a T-Bird=turkey with stuffing & a Mid Town=pastrami) and went down by the water to eat. I don't think we talked at all while we were eating. We were too busy enjoying the best sandwiches we have ever had. You get your order in boxes. OMG It was the best. They heated the stuffing on the grill before putting it on the most delicious roll ever. We will definitely be back.

I’m an Uber/Lyft driver and was here for RI Food Fights 3rd Annual Taco Mania...loved the vibe walking in, great background music, amazing list of sandwiches I’ll definitely be back for and the Tacos took me back to LA...crisped on the grill so flexible enough to fold AND has the crispy crunchy textures without falling apart, married with the incredibly spiced chicken filling...amazing...I have another place to recommend in the EG/NK neighborhood! If you’d like to try one of the RI Food Fights competitions (Nov is Pizza, aka ‘Lord of the Pies’ use PROMO code JTMUBER TO SAVE $5!!!

I lived in San Francisco for a long time, and the first time I walked in here, I almost cried bc the vibe is casual but big-city sophisticated. And the food is so good I'm going down their menu, sandwich by sandwich. Really stellar place.

Swung by yesterday to grab lunch to go on my way home. Was immediately impressed by how friendly and courteous the counter person was. Sat down to wait for my order and watched about 6 more customers file in after me within the next 5 minutes. Despite how busy things got, the staff remained friendly and courteous - real grace under pressure. And my sandwich (got the Port Jeff with local eggplant - a nice touch) was delicious! I do agree with the other comments about more seating, but I love the decor and think this is a great place well worth visiting.

Food couldn't be better!! My only suggestion is more seating. We would have stayed today, and probably would have ordered more but for the lack of seating. Also we had 2 children with us. Our fault we thought it was a stay in and eat place. Since we were taking out, didn't order the fries even though they were very good. Prices are good. Because of the wait ~well worth it for the excellent food~ I would suggest calling in order for pick up :) We had a Mulberry; one of the corn beef sandwiches, the vegetarian sandwich, the Montauk, and Tribeca salad. Again, food is WONDERFUL.

Wow, the T-bird is amazing! Easily the best thanksgiving sandwich I've ever had! I could only eat half.

I love this place even more every time I go. My plan is to make my way through the menu and try something new every time I go. So far my favorites or The Hell's Kitchen and the Montauk. Fantastic sandwiches! Highly recommend The Provisioner!!

Great new spot in town and it keeps getting better with the added hours and additions to the menu. Highly recommended (especially the "Cabbie" & "Goomba")!

This place is awesome. The sandwiches are unreal. Had the Provisioner Sandwich, the beef was so tender the mushroom, the au jus, the ciabatta bread :) all the ingredients balanced perfectly, not heavy and overwhelming,so delicious. Definitely will be back again to try some more.

Service was quick and friendly. I ordered "The Montauk", a turkey sandwich on a soft white roll, with bacon and melted Swiss cheese. It came with just the right amount of mayo and a pickle on the side. They also had my favorite San Pellegrino Limonada.

Last week I emailed them an order of 22 assorted sandwiches to cater our company Holiday Kickoff event today and they were fantastic!! Everything was ready to go when I arrived to pick it up and the staff was super friendly. Everyone enjoyed the sandwiches, Orzo Salad and Potato Salad. Absolutely recommend! Great service! Thank you! here are not enough stars to rate this place. On a whim the husband and I decided to check this place out while running some errands. We were both hungry, and seeing as it was noontime, we figured what the hell, why not?!. Now I am always saying "we dont have any really great food places around here that are different. It's all the same. Upon walking in to this place, I knew it was going to be different. This isnt a sandwich shop. It's an experience. It's no frills, no nonsense, simple, modern. Chalk board style menu that lists everything out for you on the wall with iconic names like "The Montauk" and "The Islander" This is an absolute must try shop if your looking for an unforgettable sandwich at a decent price. Set in the corner of a strip mall, if you're not careful you might miss it. Plenty of parking, gluten free bread options are available, take out, call ahead, eat in, limited beer options, but something for everyone. Desserts, looked like there was catering available. In the short amount of time we were there, they must have taken and served an additional 50 people. I seriously cannot get this place out of my mind. It is THAT good. If you're still going to those chain sandwich shops, you have NO idea what you're missing.

Great tasting food, consistently high quality, many options to choose from. You can tell that the business owners and employees value producing one of the best sandwiches in the state. My favorite sandwich is the North Fork: juicy chicken seasoned and grilled to perfection, with mozzarella, tomatoes and delicious house made pesto on fresh baked ciabatta. By far one of the top places to eat in the area.

Good options, tasty... my only issue is that I was expecting a nyc deli offering Boars head and simple heroes, lol.. but that doesn't coincide with the area, so that's on me.. .. absolute great friendly service, I would definitely go back If I was in the area

Ayy, you wanna sit down and talk about The Provisioner? Fuggetaboutit. This ain't just any deli, capisce? It's a New York masterpiece, a sanctuary for your taste buds. When you walk through those doors, it's like you've been accepted into the family—our kind of family, ya know? So, I tried the Italian Job, and let me tell you, it was like the heavens opened up. The ingredients—so fresh, it's like they've been blessed by the Godfather himself. You taste that mozzarella? I wouldn't be surprised if it was smuggled straight from the motherland. Now, don't get me started on the bread. Baked right there, in-house. I'm talkin' dough so good, you'd think Grandma was back there kneading it herself, God rest her soul. If that bread was a guy, he'd be a made man, no doubt about it. Look, I've been to a lotta sandwich joints in this city, but The Provisioner? That's my go-to spot. It's the boss of all bosses in the sando world. You go there, and you'll understand—this is not just food, it's a culinary initiation. Trust me, one bite and you're part of the family. Salute!

Not only is this place great for take out, but we used Provisioner catering for a small party at home, and it was amazing. Ryan and his staff went above and beyond my expectations, delivering and setting up while maintaining health and safety guidelines (wearing a mask and gloves). My only complaint was there was too much food!! Highly recommend the charcuterie board, spectacular presentation and great quality meats and cheeses.

I'm just going to say I'm sorry I didn't get a picture. I got a Carnegie and a Montauk. Well the cibatta bread on the Montauk was so wonderful. The Montauk was so good. The Carnegie was great. I will be back just wish it wasn't so far from us. Thanks provisioner for a wonderful meal.

Always a great sandwich. Fresh ingredients. They have gluten free sub rolls which they toast. I’ve never had any issues here with cross contamination. Customer service is always on point. Solid spot, definitely recommend.

Updated Review My first review was from 6 months ago. I had the beef street tacos and the mid town. Both were extra soggy, like a fork and a knife required soggy. I guess it depends on what you're getting ... Port Jeff ... yummy delicious and clean. Friendly staff member took my order by phone, got there in 25 minutes as I was told and food was waiting for me 😁

I wrote my review 2 years ago and wanted to confirm that it did not change since then! I have ordered from Provisioner many many times now, at least 1 or 2 times a month. They have the best sandwiches (my favorite being the Carnegie!) and some other delicious plated dishes (chicken Parm is so good!!). Their fries, chicken wings and Mac and cheese are also good. The specials on Fridays are also delicious. And the staff is always very friendly!
