Review The Faraway Cafe - North Grosvenor Dale

Absolutely lovely little cafe near my house. They have the usual cafe staples on the menu, but also have a surprisingly diverse breakfast and light lunch menu as well. They bake their own bread, and I could taste the difference. I will definitely be coming back to try their French toast, because it sounded awesome.

Go. Here. Now. Standard breakfast items yes, but their scrambled eggs are beyond fluffy. The egg sandwich is perfect on their homemade sourdough. Nicest people you'll meet with a heart for filling people with good food and baked goods. Love their raspberry coffee cake so much! Good for family outings if you need accommodating space for kiddos!

An awesome place for good fresh food. The baked goods are a must. My husband and I shared the broccoli quiche, corn chowder and the bacon, cheese and tomato panini. We could not decide which dish was our favorite. We bought chocolate chip cookies, coffee cake and apple pastry to go and we loved everything. Good fresh ingredients well prepared and served with a smile. We'll be back.

Stumbled upon this local gem on my little roadtrip. One of the best services I've experienced in a coffeeshop. Their prices are great for delicious food. Quite tasty coffee, from Baronet Coffee Roasters. The owner and staff, mainly family I'm guessing, were very attentive.

Real men don't eat quiche? Oops. I had the quiche which is made fresh on premise and almost couldn't finish it. Store baked breads and other pastries as well. I can't spell Grovesvenordale but go there and EAT.

Wonderful broccoli and cheese quiche, with a side of bacon an oven roasted potatoes. Will be telling all my friends about this lovely place.

Great food -- and the breads are homemade too! The staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is so welcoming and relaxing.

We went there this morning. The food was delicious . Laura and Justin were extremely pleasant. Gill rated 5 stars and we will return !

The food was tasty and served quickly. It would be nice if there were more vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.
