Review Nestor's Restaurant - North Fort Myers

We tried Nestors for the first time last week. It was good. I had the crunchy almond grouper, it was huge and tasty! My fiancé had the chicken souvlaki and enjoyed it. It’s a nice diner atmosphere and it’s clean! The server was very sweet and attentive. We will be back to try the liver and onions and the gyro

What a great place and very well priced!!! I was very surprised it was not busy. The Gyros are AMAZING and the Saganaki (flaming cheese) was such a HUGE portion!!! If you want some good greek food, really go to Nestor’s and check it out! Nice decor too as you could imagine, being a Greek/Italian restaurant. Can’t wait to go back!!!!!!!!!

This restaurant is a one stop shop. The menu is not exclusively Greek but a little bit of everything. They serve both breakfast and lunch. The service was good; they treat there guests well. You can tell that some people have been coming there for years. I ordered the small Greek salad. Is was great as was the presentation. Overall a good experience.

Nestor's, Hancock Bridge Pkwy, Cape Coral, Fl., Here is my 2 cents and some chatter. This is one of a hand full of Greek-American eatery around, Alway great food good portions and frugal. I order the house made chicken soup. Plus the open face gyro. You can always tell house made by the way veggies are sliced imperfect. Soup hot and delish The same for the gyro. Hot and so good a carnivore delite with a touch of healthy attached to it. Breakfast or dinner outstanding. Lots of flavor great for a second meal. Service was grand,

I hope they reopen soon. The owner is the sweetest man you could ever be served by. The staff is amazing. You feel like family. And the food is fantastic.

What a wonderful location and fantastic value! I was astonished at how empty it was. The Saganaki (flaming cheese) was such a huge portion, and the Gyros are AMAZING!!! Go to Nestor's and check it out if you want some delicious Greek food! As you might anticipate for a Greek/Italian restaurant, the decor is very nice. I cannot wait to return!!!

My husband & I had bfast there 2day. Super service. Super dining experience. Link sausage & sausage gravy tops. Eggs cooked correctly. Crisp bacon & xcellent hot coffee. But u will pay a fee to use credit..

We stopped in for lunch today, just on a whim, and I am so happy that we did! This place has a great atmosphere, and our waitress was amazing, she obviously loves working there and it shows in her friendly attitude. I had the Gyro and my husband and I shared the breaded pork. He also had a turkey and roast beef sandwich. The salad came within 4 minutes of us ordering! And as soon as we were done with that, our meals were ready. The food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back.

We were brought here by a friend after our long time breakfast place changed hands and the oil they used on the grille.... (bad taste/bad digestive experience) NESTORS IS GREAT !!!! I had a Western Omelette that was probably the best I ever had. The server heard us talking about sausages and brought us one to try at no charge.... it was excellent, going to get a side order next time. I wish I had found this place 9 years ago !

Absolutely wonderful. I’ve been here three times now and I’ve never been disappointed. We’ve sampled many of the items on the menu and everything has been excellent. Definitely doesn’t taste like it came right off the truck and reheated like some other places in the area. Waitstaff is awesome, always remembers us! I would say my only gripe is the speed at which the food comes out, but I’m slightly impatient so that’s on me. Super pleased with Nestor’s. Thanks for a continually great experience.

GREAT food!! Huge portions!! Home-type cooking. Nice and knowable staff! All the waitresses I've spoken to have all worked there for YEARS!!! And THAT'S saying something for a business!! Go!! You'll love it!! Mr. Nestor & staff... thank you for serving us delicious food with a smile!!

Good comfort food in a friendly atmosphere. The wait staff and owners are very outgoing and helpful. One of my go-to places for breakfast. Great lunch time choices also.

I have unfortunately acclimatize to the brutal humid heat, Hades, or of this place. But it reminded me of growing up in Misery, I mean Missouri. I felt a need for old style mid western chow of my aunt or grandma. On a day like today, I had a reflection of what I use to do and eat. In my old age I do realize I have become a bit of a foodie snob.<br/>Which does not mean I am wrong. I am still right. Right about my observations and taste.<br/> So my meal.<br/>The food. $11.99 I order stuff green peppers, mash potatoe/gravy house made beef barley soup, a roll and dessert. Roll and hot soup on a cold day. Soup was like home. Lots of barley and stuff, a bit lacking in flavor just like the midwest.  It still tasted good  though. This time around my taters were cold. I mentioned this issue and very quickly I had a new piping hot dish.  The taters also need a pick me up of butter. When I added a tad, it was fine. The stuff peppers were good. The ground beef was seasoned well. They held together but broke easily when using my fork. I have been eating chili rellenos for so long ,I forgot how tasty simple peppers can be. My dessert a slice of baklava and chocolate ice cream<br/>Service was excellent.<br/>Nestor's Restaurant, Hancock Bridge Pkwy, N. Fort Myers., FL. A growling in my tummy, 2 cents on the food and chit chat.<br/>The food. Great old fashion food. Soup... a taste on the tongue, fabulous, lobster bisque. WOW... I could have ate a bowl not just the cup. Rolls fresh hot rolls...the way it use to be done at... ALL restaurants in the day. real butter no fake stuff. A special that is hardly ever found any more..Hungarian Goulash. a special of the day not found to often.  Cubes of tender beef that melts in the mouth. A sauce that is ladle on a bed of just al dente egg noodles. OOOh so good stuff<br/>Just right for the carnivore inside all of us... The perfect meal to end the week.<br/>My server was experience and done the task so well.<br/>A place you might be inclined to drive by because of all the cars all time. Fear not. Do so drop in!!!

Best spinach pie ever!!!. The restaurant is clean & bright, the staff is lovely and the food is great!!!

New Jersey style diner food!. Have always gotten breakfasts here. Went tonite and both of us got the Philly cheesesteak with fries and gravy . Delicious and good quality meat and cheese. Waitresses are all nice and experienced . Food has always been consistently good.

SWEDE OF CAPE CORAL. We have a group of retired men who all worked for the same company, who are there every Wednesday morning for breakfast. Our watress LINDA is the best as every one working there from the owners down. They go out of their way to make sure we have everything we want and need. The food is great,. always fresh and hot, very good coffee and lots of it.. i have also done enenings and holidays. excelent food and service. Holiday meals are like the best home cooking you can get, and plenty of food, seconds not needed at this place. A great family resturant with great food and service. (And if you like they do have beer and wine.)

Great Food-- Good Wait Staff. Great food, friendly and hard working waitresses, who get it RIGHT. My wife and I have been there several times, and we will be back. But, I agree with the rater who said the owners need to learn to smile. Everyone there is friendly EXCEPT the owners, who remind me of Eastern European customs agents from the cold war era. Good grief, lighten up folks, your food is good and we are there to spend money, not to steal your silverware. :-)

Great food and great prices.Always give you plenty to eat. Never had s bad meal. There.yet

Wholesome hearty food. Reasonably priced. Very clean. Owners need to smile and be more friendly. I'll be back.

Greek ???. Oddly to say that thier American fare is much better then thier Greek food
