This has been my favorite authentic Mexican eatery in the area since about 2014; I tell all my friends about it! I've had their tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, tostadas... pretty much everything I've ordered has been delicious, though the enchiladas are my go-to. The chips are also super fresh and delicious, which is very dangerous because I am not immune to the addictiveness of chips and salsa (or their awesome guac) and I have to pace myself so I don't get too stuffed before I get my meal. Service is always prompt even when they're busy and our servers are always awesome.

Absolutely brilliant food! My buddy and I work near this restaurant and it's always our go to for lunch! I've never had an order be messed up or my food come out bad. I've nothing but great things to say! I recommend that everyone try this place out, you will not regret it! Thank you La Nortena!

It was a pleasure to eat here! 100% of all staff interactions were very nice, definitely felt welcomed and appreciated. Flavors were great, the portions were big, I had leftovers for midnight snacking!

Absence of physical menus was difficult and led to some issues correctly getting our desired order placed, but once it was brought out, just WOW. I’m from Texas and never expected Me Ivan to taste this good in SC! Bravo to the family making great food here

Good food and Service. Dining atmosphere was good also. The negative is the Prices on the menu. Just to much for servings. Prices comparable to a high end Steak House in my opinion. Check them out, I'd recommend them if Price isn't a big concern.

Now you're talking! We Really enjoyed this Mexican restaurant with enormous margaritas and fresh flavors!
Since we moved to Charleston two years ago from Colorado, we've been searching for good Mexican food and this is, to date, the best we've found. Not as many "combos" on the menu, but a lot of the tried and true favorites.
Definitely worth the trip!
