My first time actually in The Sparrow way great. I am not so young and was a little intimidated by the grunge look but my love for live music called me in. I am not a heavy punk rocker anymore but Saturday night brought me back to some crazy days of yesteryear. Everyone was so friendly. The young bartender was helpful and the bands were full of down to earth people who simply have a voice they want to share. The room is cozy and you can see from anyplace in the room. Suggestion to newcomers if you want to save your hearing bring ear plugs most of the regulars had them. Good people, great music, low cover charge "more than worth it." And for a fun time get out and go to The Sparrow.
A small group of my friends have been playing pool every Wednesday for over the last 5-6 yrs. Great place to hang out and play some pool

Love the comedy nights here, always make me smile and the comedians are always changing. It truly is an event to take the Monday blues away. Also..their bartender is incredibly sweet and she makes the absolute best apple cranberry mule 😍
I like this place! And with the only pinball machine I know of.... Even more so. Service has been exceptionally friendly the times I've been in. This is the Montague hidden gem.
Very chill vibe, modern/90s skate vibe. Bar tender is on it, friendly place to chill, clean and neat which is very important to me. I will be back for sure***

My husband and I love The Sparrow and their staff so much we got married here. 😉 Great service including keeping their patrons safe, always clean inside including the bathrooms and outside as well. Pool, music, comedy shows, live shows and friendly people. 10/10 bring all new Park Circle here to relax and be with friends. Favorite place for any night of the week!
Great neighborhood bar. I knew I was in a good place when the bartender served up my friend's beer without his having to order. He's a regular. 🍺

I love this place. They have great bands and an excellent atmosphere. The murals are awesome, and the staff provides excellent service. Every time I have been here I have had a great time. I highly recommend checking it out. Also there is plenty of free parking.
Good drinks, awesome people. My home away from home. Always feel so welcome here. No nonsense bar that should be celebrated for that exact reason. Well done.
It's a fun little bar with some pinball machines, which is what we went there for. One of the machines was broken and took our money and the bartender didn't reimburse us for the lost money. The aesthetic is a little odd but besides the pinball incident, good service and fun atmosphere.
