Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant

Strangely enough, the food was a lot better here than it was at their suburban location. When I go out for Indian food, I have very high standards considering that I could just make it at home. We took some out-of-towners here last night and everyone enjoyed all of the dishes. Even though it is self dining the portions are a good size, the flavor was well balanced, the menu provided a good variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the total bill wasn’t that expensive. Overall, a very good meal and experience!

This is the worst mutton biriyani I have ever had. They charged $19 but it is not even worth of 19c. Quantity also too low but that is good in other way as I had to consume little ( cant throw as it is hard earned money ) Never order from here. Also Ordered Pepper Chicken and taste was little better but they put some pieces which usually we throw while cutting it. This restaurant is not even worth of 1 star but that is the lowest we can give !!

Very responsive, efficient, delicious food and reasonably priced. They responded even when the restaurant was closed. Helped with the biryani buckets and clarified the pricing, no hidden fees like others. Biryani was delicious, everyone liked it. Ample quantity for the gathering for which it was ordered. The side items weren't much for all, but not expected anyway, so all was good. In this day and age when all others are milking by substantially raising prices with less quantity and poor service, this place stands out to be good, friendly and helpful.

Great Indian restaurant with good flavorful food. Weekly specials are really good deals. This place offers Indian sweets and savories traditionally prepared, like ladoo, halwa, adhirasam, murukku, thattai etc. Bucket biriyani seems like their specialty. Noticed that Bucket sizes are also big. Portion sizes of entrées are good and comes with good sides. Friendly staff offered help with ordering. Items can be more reasonably priced.

Worst food(Sreeragam mutton biryani $23, and boneless mutton biryani) looks like there spoiled and they served the food. Worst service, server/attender don't even respond if we request food. It is not a cheap place when it comes to pricing and it is a worst place to visit to eat or carry out food. I have other chettinadu restaurants and this one not a match to any of those. I don't recommend and it is a pure rip off of money.

Biriyani - it tasted like poorly made Mexican rice (Supposed to be boneless seeraga samba - most expensive biriyani scam) Chicken 65 - frozen stale chicken Chicken chukka- again frozen chicken instantly mixed with some curry, no flavor no authenticity. Stop disappointing customers, they come to you with reasonable expectations, live it up. Don’t cheat. If you don’t have the real stuff just say you are out.
