I've been to La Sorrentina a couple of times and always walk away very pleased and satisfied with my choices of
entree. Food is always prepared fresh and they are flexible when you need it modified to your specifications. The pizza, pasta, eggplant parmesan and fish is always delicious and my favorite. The wait staff is also friendly and explains the menu well. The portions are very generous. An espresso or cappuccino to complete your great meal is always nice. Will continue to visit La Sorrentina.
Always delicious! Great brick oven pizza! Fresh seafood. Especially I love the fried calamari. The tiramisu is heaven on earth!!!
Love it! This place screams Italian greatness.... Step one, the bread... honestly and I mean this, I'm not certain I have ever had fresher, better bread from any Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Step two, the calamari is legitimately perfectly crunch every time. And of course, the pizza. Think freshly picked basil, over freshly made, moist, salty mozzarella, covering genuinely sweet marinara sauce! Oh and the crust is airy and crispy too. Truly, they do it right at La Sorrentina! Food rating comes in with a 4.4 out of 5 (breads a 5 out of 5, no doubt). While they do have wine, I did not try it so I won't rate it out of fairness. Overall grade is 4.4 out of 5. A must try dine-in for sure!
I love this place!! Brick oven pizza, my favorite is prosciutto and arugula, nice bottle of pellegrino, and a espresso and cannoli for dessert.
Next to braddock park, you can walk it off the calories.higly recommend it.customer service is pretty good.
From the moment I walked on we were greeted and seated, which was great. Our server was great at getting us our drinks and the food came right out
Absolutely incredible Italian food. Pizza pasta, salad, appetizers were all delicious. Highly recommend!
The BEST Italian restaurant I ever been to, absolutely love it! Food was amazing, service was way beyond pleasant. We will definitely be back soon.
We ordered a large tray of Lasagna for Christmas. The tray literally weighed over 20 pounds. And without a doubt the best Lasagna in NJ ( except my wife’s lol)
