Have been going here for years. The food is incredible. My personal favorites are the chicken rolls and the eggplant pizza. Absolutely delicious! Some of the friendliest business owners in town as well! Def the best pizza around!

Always greeted warmly; decor and lighting are inviting. Food is delicious with ample portions. Nice selection of wines. Family friendly; went there on a live-music Saturday and even got to dance in the aisle with my wife for our anniversary. Not high-end, not low-end; it's just right!

I love this place for the freshness but what's makes it the most special for me is that every-time I eat here , I feel like I'm eating at a family's members house or that I'm back in Colombia ! There is so much love that goes into this food and that unique touch I haven't from else where in Long Island and it keeps me coming back ; from empanadas , to the best pan de bono and the soups! Can't wait to try everything; well except chicken fingers .. PS- they justm starting serving drinks

Spotted this place on my way to get dinner somewhere else and really glad I decided to turn around. The food is delicious and authentic , the owners genuinely care about the quality of food they’re serving you and care that you have a good experience. The owner Rob is wonderfully personable and has a passion for food, he’s a local and is a great source of knowledge for all types of foods all over Long Island and adds to the already great experience. Left full and satisfied and will definitely be back!

First time my family and I visited this place. The owners were extremely welcoming and super attentive. The food was fresh and good portions were served. I recommend the guacamole and empanadas for appetizers. The meat and salmon were also super delicious. I’ve visited plenty of Colombian restaurants in queens and LI, but they do not compare. It’s better than Mi tierrita. I will be definitely be coming back for more!

There are several tables to sit and eat at. Restaurant is clean and bright! Our server could not have been more friendly and helpful! Made a couple changes on the food we ordered and it wasn't a problem at all. Food was traditional and very delicious. The fruit juices were amazing, particularly the mango lemonade. Tostones with guacamole were great, you can taste the guacamole is home made. The Plato tipico paisa had everything it should and was perfect, highly recommend. Will be returning again!

Super yummy food, so glad to have authentic Columbian...or even any actual Latin food in the area. We normally have to leave town for Latin food glad we have something local now. The owners are super friendly and a cute couple. After eating they asked if we wanted dessert but we were to full. I did ask about a certain dessert that is my favorite, brevas con queso. They said they would have it next week but they sent me home with some arequipe! So sweet of them. Can't wait to go back

I stopped by on a whim that turned into a stroke of fortune. The lady, owner, was on the phone with a large, difficult order. She was incredibly polite. She actually asked the customer on the phone to hold on and took my order. I had the classic cubano sandwich and the arepitas. All I can say is WOW. I'm not that experienced with Colombian food but this was HEAVEN. Fresh, home cooked deliciousness!!! Looks like a great atmosphere to dine in as well. I'm going back for sure and telling others as well.

Excellent food. We started off with the grill calamari which was great. I ordered the grilled beef with plantains, rice and beans. The beef was cooked just right and was juicy. The owner was great and hospitable. I felt like I was eating in her home. The restaurant does not have their liquor license yet so enjoy the perks of byob. We ended dinner with a slice of tres leches which was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered take-out. When I picked up the food, the atmosphere in the place was bright, friendly, cozy and very clean. The owner was there and he is extremely nice but slightly overbearing with expressing concern that everything be great. He literally told me he would drive to my house to give me a refund if I didn't like the food. And i believe him! Although that didn't need to happen because the food was good, some of it was not great. He told me he was a "foodie" so I sincerely hope he listens to my criticism and they improve over time(I'm a foodie & an avid home cook). I will go back at some point. I ordered beef empanadas and the mixed grill plate (the smaller one without skirt steak). The empanadas were the best I've ever had: super crispy and crunchy outside, soft, well seasoned inside. The mixed grill was not so great. The grilled beef was good, but the fried egg on top was totally overcooked. The yolk should be runny and it was more like a hard boiled egg. No seasoning either. The rice and beans were perfect, and the packaging was great because they put the beans in a separate soup container which kept everything else from getting drenched in the juice. The fried plantains were good but nothing special. The same as I've had at every Hispanic or Jamaican restaurant. The chorizo was good, but again, nothing special. It seemed "store bought." My biggest gripe was with the chichharone (excuse the spelling). This is my favorite of all the meats and I was really hoping it would be good. It wasn't. Chichharone should be well spiced, meaty, fatty with very crispy skin. It was none of those: the fat had been completely rendered out, the meat had very little, if any, seasoning and the skin was tough and rubbery. That was a total disappointment. I had asked for hot sauce and was given containers of two red and one green. Unfortunately they weren't hot. I literally drank some of the red to see if I was crazy, but no heat and little flavor. The green had a slight amount of heat and some flavor, but not enough of either. While this sounds like lot of complaining and contradicts my 4 star rating, I making my opinion known to the restaurant and the owner so they can improve, as I think they have a good start and would really like them to succeed in the neighborhood. I'm also a bit nit-picky about food so if you're in the mood for some feel good Columbian comfort food, this is the place. Good luck to Mamma Gina's. I will be back! Thanks.

Ordered food to go and everything was delicious. The beef and chicken empanadas were both really good and not dry like some other Colombian places.

Welp, guess I found my new spot to get empanadas, because those just blew my mind. Absolutely delicious food. Also had the arepa con chorizo... the arepa is delicious, but the chorizo is to die for. They also have a selection of Columbian sodas; I was suggested the Columbiana & it was very tasty. The interior is very comfortable & has got a fantastic decor, with a nice mural & videos of Columbia playing. And to top it all off, the staff are great folks, just really nice people, and you can tell everyone's passionate about making delicious food. Cannot wait to go back for breakfast & a juice. I was told they're taking over, and you know what? I think they will. Give them your money & get yourself a good meal.
