Review August Moon Restaurant - Norristown

They just reopened after a bad flood and the place is absolutely the cleanest most delicious Korean restaurant around. Don't be misled by the location. It is safe to go to and the surroundings are wonderful. The staff is excellent and you'll see that the prices are reasonable

We went to celebrate a friend birthday dinner and the place had recently reopen. There were 25 of us in the party room. The party started at 6pm. The waitress took our drink order first and then took our meals 30 minutes later. At 8:30pm, we started to inquire as to why our appetizers and food was not on the table. After all we had been there 2 and half hours. The manager told me that staff called out and he only had 1 cook and our food would take at least another 30 minutes. The cook appeared to be an elderly Korean woman. Not only did she have to fulfill our party it there were others sitting at other tables as well. Unfortunately I had to leave, it was now 8:45pm. My advice to Management is if staff call out find other accommodation like serve appetizers only, or give discounts for late meals or close the store. But say something to the patrons. I felt deceive and was disappointed with this establishment. If you go in the future call first to see if they can accommodate you

Delicious! This is probably about to be our once a week local spot. It was pretty cool trying some of the food I’ve seen on Korean dramas!

Great food. Great service. Dolsot bibimbap was 9/10. Each ingredient good independently.

Great hidden gem! Was passing through on the way to Philly and stopped by for some dinner. The main dining room is on the smaller size but the staff were very conscientious of socially distancing the tables to allow for safe dining practices. The menu was filled with a lot of great options- both Korean and Japanese. We got the mandoo soup, bibimbap, and 2 sushi rolls. All the food came out freshly made and in a timely manner. Everything was so fresh, tasty and made with care. Our server was quick, attentive, and very welcoming. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a clean and quiet place to enjoy some authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine.
