Loved going here! We were served by a very kind, helpful gentleman who recommended his favorite dishes. He was very apologetic about supply chain issues and increased prices due to the pandemic, which we absolutely understand. We got the Gyoza and Chicken Satay appetizers and both were flawless and delicious. I took his recommendation on a chicken soup and received an enormous bowl that held more than my sauce pot at home! 😂 The chicken was delicious and fell right off the bone. Our server also insisted we try a Thai Tea and another dish so he brought them to us free of charge so we would try several samples of the menu. It was a wonderful experience and we will absolutely go back. The restaurant was also nicely decorated and looked clean and smelled good, which are all good signs of a nice place.

Quick, super friendly service during lunch rush. The Sushi/Sashimi was fresh, Pad Thai delicious, fried tofu crispy outside and soft inside👍, full meal appropriately priced(appetizer, soup, drinks, and meal), lots of flavor and plenty to take home for another meal. Very friendly staff and the environment is relaxing. Ordered a hot green tea, but they don't carry 🍋 for it. I ordered the Tom Kha, small, as my meal. Only 🍄 and 🍅 in the soup. 😕 It was thick and the coconut milk coagulated as it cooled. Would not order it again. The side 🥗 was very fresh and their ginger dressing was 👍. My friend order the tonkatsu ramen 🍜 and said it was delicious.

Favorite restaurant in Norman! I have dined in and taken out. I love the dine in experience, especially when they have a live piano player. I really love the ambiance. During the pandemic I have only gotten take-out though and their friendliness, service and food has always been fantastic!

We didn’t tell the waiter cause we were afraid someone might spit in the replacement food cause we’ve complained, plus pad Thai had too much of the sauce so it was bitter

NORMAN, Okla. – Just to be clear, our love of this restaurant has driven me and my better half to eat here at least once per week. And when wanting a movie night at home, I’ll pick up a to-go order. The food is delicious, the décor is gorgeous, and the prices are too good to pass up. The first thing you notice when you walk through the door is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. There are way too many restaurants that have great food, but the experience is spoiled by the poor service. That is definitely not the case here. The sushi chef is usually the first to greet you since the sushi bar is right next to the door. It really provides a great first impression and a good start to a wonderful culinary experience.

FAVORITE NORMAN RESTAURANT!!!. Have been here weekly for the past 4 years! Super friendly and awesome service. Water is always refilled before I get the chance to even notice. Great variety of Thai food. The new sushi and bento boxes are the best! Definitely try it for lunch! Reasonable price (this is coming from a student in debt). Wished it was opened on Mondays too. Great Thai Food & Sushi. If visiting Norman or the University of Oklahoma (especially since it's right there in Campus Corner), Thai Delight is a place for you. The food was very flavorful, it's a family owned business, and the service was great. The husband and I both enjoyed our lunch quite a bit, and will come back to this quaint place whenever we come to Norman. If you are a consistent patron of the restaurant, or have tried it and considering coming back a few more times, they do have a stamp card. Ask them about it so you can make sure you're racking up those points if you're going to eat there anyways!

Thai Delight is THE BEST in Norman.. I've been a semi-regular patron of Thai Delight for about 2 years, and I've never been disappointed with the service or with the quality of food. Whether I'm just grabbing take-out or dining in, it is always a delightful experience! The staff is friendly and experienced, and the food is, simply put, amazing. Not only one of my favorite restaurants in Norman, but perhaps my favorite restaurant period. :)

Outstanding in Every Way. I don't know where to begin. Thai Delight in Norman has been - since the first of the probably 100? times I've dined there - been absolutely amazing. Because since becoming a regular I consider myself friends with the ownership, I admit I'm a little biased. But objectively:<br/><br/>1 - They have the best curry and padthai. I loved PadThai and other Thai restaurants. But their curry has the smoothest, most flavorful taste in the game. Others are too thick or too soupy - Thai Delight finds the perfect medium. Their padthai has the perfect blend of peanuts, basil, egg, etc. - and you can add or remove ingredients and spice. They're great at catering to those who really like a kick in their dinner.<br/><br/>2 - The service is unlike any other. You'll always be greeted with a smile. You'll always get assistance on items when asking. They'll always be patient with you. They refill drinks like there's no tomorrow. And once they even Facebooked me to inform me I'd left my laptop there as I left in a rush one day. They're genuinely concerned about how you like the food and if you're comfortable.<br/><br/>3 - The atmosphere is wonderful. Whether you're looking for a quick casual lunch with friends or a more formal and intimate dining experience, Thai Delight's restaurant somehow provides an ambiance that offers both. I've gone on romantic dinners as well as group lunches. The area is always clean and the lighting, music and restaurant volume have always been pleasant.<br/><br/>A few extra things:<br/><br/>1 - If you like fresh spring rolls, theirs are large and come with an awesome peanut sauce.<br/>2 - Many entrees come with a salad, with your choice of either peanut or ginger dressing (peanut all the way).<br/>3 - Their ownership and servers are typically from Asia and know what it means to enjoy authentic Thai food.<br/>4 - I've been to Japan, and their sushi is well on par with Miyagi's best sushi and for a great price. Their boats can border on the pricey side, but for a couple of people or more it's worth it.<br/>5 - They're very vegetarian-friendly - tofu and other options are available. While I enjoy their beef, the eggplant and tofu have always been wonderful.<br/>6 - They have special promotions, events and an active Facebook.<br/>7 - Warm. Sake.<br/><br/>With a very large menu, fair prices and a staff focused on your enjoyment, Thai Delight has been a second-to-none favorite of mine for years - and I'm a huge fan of good restaurants and great Asian food.

Phenomenal. Seriously, just try this restaurant. It's fantastic. The staff is so friendly, and they remember almost everyone who comes through the door. Despite having been in Norman for a while, the restaurant is still very clean and well-kept. The prices are good and the food is even better.

Excellent restaurant. This is quite possibly my favorite place to eat in Norman. The menu contains the most selection I have ever seen at any eatery, and every dish I've tried so far has been delicious. The waitstaff is unfailingly polite and helpful, and the restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and generally a pleasant place to eat. <br/><br/>The only downside I have encountered so far is the wait. This is not a place to go if you're in a hurry, but if you have a while the food is certainly worth the wait.

Great Atmosphere!. Everyone that works here is so nice! Love this place. Everything I have tried from here has been tremendous. So much to choose from. Unfortunately, my wife never can make up her mind and everything look delicious. Sushi, Kao Soi, Lava Drop Roll, and Curry/Sushi/Sashimi combos are just some of the few things I have tried and loved. Try anything. I bet it is great!

Mmmm Thai Delish!. I love this place. The entire wait staff is friendly every time I visit. The food is affordable and the variety of what you could order makes it hard for me to choose every time. The vegan sushi is delicious. Every time I order the veggie sushi box they switch it up for me, so I'm never eating the same thing every time.

Best Sushi and Thai Curry in town! It's a family owned restaurant and the entire staff is very polite. It's like a ship welcome when you walk in because everyone says hi to you. The sushi is the freshest I've had in Oklahoma so far. Very skilled sushi chefs. Lunch specials are terrific and great price for what you are getting. It is a must go!

Definitely my favorite restaurant in norman and one of my favorite restaurants period. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff who are absolutely religious about keeping drinks full. Service is prompt, food is reasonably priced and portions are huge. I've never gotten anything here that I did not like, both the sushi and the Thai food are excellent. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place- I always try to bring my friends over here and I've never been disappointed!

Worst food ever! I and my girlfriend ordered beef remen and seafood remen. The noodle and soup are both from a Korean style instant noodle package which cost about $1 per pack.

Outstanding Lunch Menu. This is a routine stop for my friends and me during our lunch break. They have a huge menu of lunch specials, all priced under $10. They've also recently added sushi to the lunch menu, and it's a nice addition to their traditional Thai dishes. The volcano chicken is excellent, and the soft shell crab is great for those looking for a unique meal.

Best Thai place in Norman. Thai Delight is always a good choice! It's the best Thai place in Norman (I've been to Thailand, and the food at Thai Delight is just as good). The tom kha, kao soi, and curry noodle soups are unbelievably good. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced and delicious. I've never been disappointed! Great food, great service - highly recommend for those that enjoy Thai cuisine.

Best of the Norman Thai restaurants. This is my favorite of the Norman thai restaurants. The Tom Yum soup is delicious on special. The prices are darn good and the menu is much more extensive than that of most of their competitors. The volcano duck and volcano chicken is good. The pad thai is pretty good, but probably a little better at Sweet Basil's.

My favorite restaurant in Norman. I am picky and this is my favorite restaurant in Norman. I am vegan. The spicy coconut soup with tofu is potently spiced but not too much so. I believe I've tried every Thai restaurant in Norman and this is by far the best. Service is also excellent (although I don't care about service as much as I do about the food--my motivation for going here is that the food is so darn good).

My favorite restaurant. This is one of my favorite restaurants. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly without interfering too much. The menu is tasty and has a lot of variety. My favorite dish is Spicy Noodle. One of the things I appreciate about this place is how they prepare their fried tofu. A lot of places don't thoroughly dry the tofu so it is soggy in the middle. That is not the case at Thai Delight. I really enjoy the fried tofu appetizer as well is in my Padthai. I'm not vegetarian or anything the chicken is great here too. Reasonable prices for excellent food.

The best Thai around!!. Thai Delight looks like a hole in the wall, but it is fantastic and worth trying. It's right by Sooner Copy. Even the most finicky eaters love the Pad Thai dish and everyone I've brought has absolutely loved it. The portion is so generous a friend and I can barely finish one plate. Most of the entrees are served with a small salad. It doesn't look like much, but the dressing is delicious. I go here at least once a week and the waitresses always recognize me. They're some of the most friendly people you'll ever meet.

Consistently impressive.. I visit Thai Delight at least once a week. That's because it's freaking awesome. There are so many Thai restaurants in Norman, and I've tried them all. It's nice to have a selection, but I pick Thai Delight every time.<br/><br/>Why?<br/><br/>The service, first of all, is impeccable. The Thai Delight ladies are always happy to see me, are always aware of the substitutions I like to make - I've never noticed a mistake - and are the pinnacle of politeness even when they're super busy. <br/><br/>The Pad Thai, the endlessly popular noodle dish, is always impressive here, and it's going to sound weird, but it's prettier here than other places. I don't know if it's the sprinkling of nuts on the top or what, but it always looks so pretty. <br/><br/>The curry is lovely. My favorite type is the green curry: it's aromatic and light, with just enough Thai basil to titillate! They don't pour a bunch of heavy cream in it, which I really appreciate, as a health-conscious patron!<br/><br/>The basil dishes are my new favorite. I don't know what they do to the sauce to make it taste so warm and inviting, but it's soooo good. And it still manages to be a healthy choice!<br/><br/>The chicken satay is A+.<br/><br/>I feel also like I need to mention the tofu. Thai Delight makes tofu lovers out of skeptics. Without breading, they render the edges of the cubes so crispy, leaving just enough soft in the middle to keep it textural and interesting. Other places I order the meat to stay safe, but here the tofu is just as good, if not better.<br/><br/>The lunch prices are low, the dinner prices are a little higher. But it's totally worth it. Best Thai in Norman. Best Thai in Oklahoma. Really, it's the best I've ever had.<br/><br/>Go! You won't be disappointed!

DELICIOUS!!!. We made the trip from Okahoma City, a little apprehensive because I had never heard anything about Thai Delight but the menu online looked interesting. OMG!!!! We were NOT sorry. It was fantastic. We were greeted with a smile by a pretty hostess. Our waiter was equally friendly. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu so it took us a while to make our decisions. I had a chicken dish (I think it was called Chicken Delight) that was sooooo good. It had pieces of fried chicken, pineapple, bell pepper, onions, green onion, cashews in a sweet and spicy chili sauce. I ordered mine as a "3" on the spicy 1-5 scale. It was about right for my taste, although I might have been able to take it up a notch. It was presented very nicely with some carrot/red cabbage garnish and served with steamed rice. It also came with a cup of vegetable/noodle soup which was not much more than chicken broth with a few small pieces of fresh broccoli, and some other small pieces of veggies and very few noodles (I didn't go for the soup anyway!). My boyfriend had a seafood dish that had squid, shrimp, mussels, scallops and red snapper in a chili basil sauce. He liked it but kept eating off my plate too! I didn't try his because I'm not much of a seafood fan. The hostess and waiter checked back with us several times to see how we liked our meal and asked if there was anything else they could get us. We definitely will go back. My only regret is that I don't live closer so I could go there more often! I've already been looking at the menu to figure out what I want to try next!!!

Favorite Thai. This is one of our most favorite restaurants and our favorite Thai place. Very quiet, relaxed place and service is good. <br/><br/>My husband loves the Volvano duck, and I think their curry is some of the best I've ever had. I'm crazy about their spring rolls. They have a very nice variety so there is something for everyone. The last time I was there I tried their stir fried rice, and was really surprised. It was very filling, not greasy at all and plenty of vegetables and egg. <br/><br/><br/><br/>The coconut ice cream is a really nice, light dessert. <br/><br/>I also wanted to point out they have very reasonably priced lunch specials (under 8 bucks)which include a salad with ginger dressing or miso soup. Both are very good.

Delicious Thai. I think the food was wonderful. I ate a noodle dish with tofu and the food was very good, better than most of the other Thai places around Norman. At those places I usually end up with something soaked in soy sauce and oily. The waitress that took our order was soft spoken and friendly and the people that greeted us when we entered were friendly. The dining room had lovely plants around and the interior looked almost new and very clean. Lovely spot.

Woah. This place is top notch. Beautiful decor inside the restaurant and very friendly staff. I ordered the Chicken Delight, it was truly a delight. The spicyness scale goes from 1 to 5. I opted for 3 and it was very spicy, but delicious. I highly recommend this place, my order was ready in 10 minutes on a busy Friday night. I also got a Thai Iced Tea which tasted great and helped neutralize the fire I'm my mouth. I love Thai food, this restaurant did not disappoint.<br/><br/>Oh. Let's try their Shrimp Pad Thai, So Good.

Absolutely Delicious. This is my spot for Thai food. One of my favorite restaurants. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the service. All the waitresses have been great. I have not had a bad experience there, it always has been very pleasant. I definately suggest going for luch. Dinner can be a little pricey. If you go for luch, you should order from the lunch specials. They have a variety of dishes that are so amazing. You get tons of food for under $8; Usually enough to take home for later. If you deside to get dessert, I suggest the sticky rice with mangos. It's completely delicious!

A great place!. I come here quite often for the excellent service, great atmosphere, and the expansive menu. I've eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants in the area and this is the only one that makes me feel like part of the family.<br/><br/>The food is consistently good, if not a little spicier than what I'm used to from other Thai restaurants. That's not a bad thing though, as the spicier the food the better!

Great food, Great Service. I recently ate at new Thai Delight in Norman, and it was very good. The interior is completely redesigned, is very clean and has a great atmosphere. The service is great, very friendly and helpful.<br/><br/>I had the Volcano Chicken with Cheese Rolls for the appetizer. Both were delicious. A friend had Pad Thai and enjoyed it also.<br/><br/>The menu is large, and has a great variety of Thai dishes, with pictures of most of them. It was easy to get the dish at the spicy level that I wanted.<br/><br/>I highly recommend stopping by if you are going to be in Norman.

Highly Recommend. I have eaten here several times since their grand opening and am thrilled. The inside is spacious, contemporary, and has an ambiance that is pleasing for large groups, couples, or the single individual who wants to eat while taking advantage of the WIFI. The staff are extremely courteous and so knowledgeable that I allow them to choose my dish each time I go....and I'm always happy afterwards. If you are new to Thai food, let them introduce you. If you area a seasoned connoisseur, you will be delighted. If you like your food spicy, they can bring the heat...you won't be disappointed. I recommend bringing family and/or friends and share several different entrees to garner a full appreciation of the seven pages of menu items they offer (yes, I counted). A great addition and soon to be favorite of the campus corner crowds!!!!

Great Thai Food in Norman. I have dined in Thai restaurants in many places throughout the US and outside. Thai Delight Norman rates as one of the top when it comes to food quality / quantity, service, and value. I enjoy Red Curry (heat range 3/5) and found the dish at Thai Delight to be very tasteful and definitely not boring from beginning to end. The same care to provide memorable flavors seems to be intertwined within their menu. <br/><br/>The service, was excellent! The staff was very knowledgeable, not only of the menu choice, but also in comparing the selections with traditional Thai dishes. <br/><br/>i heartily recommend Thai Delight.

They have a pretty extensive menu both on the sushi and Thai side and it took a lot of willpower not to order more. I had frozen food thawing out in the car for dinner and didn’t want to fill up too much. My spring rolls came out first. They were hot right out of the frier and was served with a sweet duck like sauce with some chili flakes in it. The spring rolls were good and the sauce was good, however they were the frozen in a box kind and not fresh. I can’t complain though since they at least have veggie spring rolls on the men
