Not great but overall it is a great place if you want simple good food in a laid back place.
The service was excellent. Everyone was very nice and willing to help. Greeted us with a genuine smile. The food was great, and it tasted very good. My enchiladas were a bit dry for my taste, but the chicken was not dry so that made it better.
This was a pleasant find after visiting the sunflowers for the morning. Service was very attentive and courteous. Teamwork was evident. Atmosphere was very nice and the entire location was clean--inside and out. There is a bar with seating for those seeking a place to enjoy a relaxing adult beverage or two. Our food was good in portion size and taste. Happy eating!

The best darn Mexican food around. Balta, one of the two owners, always greets us, which makes it even nicer. Every dish that we have tried was amazing! Highly recommend
It's really comforting coming here, it's my second time but my husband love this place so much, the food the atmosphere and the service. I reckon the dos burritos and steak and shrimp so goid flavor is just right and they do a generous portion. If you're around town and haven't try Hector's please do cone try its worth it, and I tell you service and food is great.

Breakfast is amazing here. I had the Beef Tip omelette and my husband had Hectors Omelette. -Oh Wow!! So good. And the staff is Super Friendly to everyone. Support local - these people work hard and are amazing highly recommend

Hands down best Mexican food I tried so far in all of Loudoun, Fairfax and Prince William counties. Have been looking for a good Mexican restaurant for a long time and my search ended here :). Overall food was very fresh and flavourful. Prices were decent for the area. Service was satisfactory. Each staff member including the owner were very welcoming upon our entry and thanked us after the meal.
Complimentary chips and salsa were served for the table. Salsa's were very fresh and flavorful. If you can take heat, ask for their spiciest salsa.
Tried their Pollo Roja. Grilled chicken was juicy. Ranchero sauce was fresh and tasty. Gaucomole was great.
Cheese enchiladas were good too.
Flan's texture was nice but was a little too much cinnamon flavor.

Great flavors this time as well. Tried cocktails Mai Tai and Agua Azul. Chimichanga and fried ice cream were great.

Everything tasted good. Tried Chicken flautas, Chilli Relleno, Chicken quesadillas, Shrimp Tostada and Lime Margarita.
My first time, after hearing rave reviews from several family members. Delicious and hot. They ate Taco Salads and I ate Cheese Enchiladas with rice and beans 🤤
Phenomenal place. The manager, Balta, is a bundle of joy that will make you feel welcome on your first step in, and the servers are warm, friendly, and attentive. The food is excellent, and despite Hector's being pretty much always busy come dinnertime (no surprise there), it comes out pretty quickly. Prices are also shockingly low for the high quality of the food. Can't recommend enough!
This place is awesome! We go at least once every time we visit family in the area! Discovered it several years ago! The food is always delicious! I've had something different almost every time I've been and loved all of it! The service has always been great, even when we had a large group! They are very friendly and personable! Prices are pretty good too!

Love this little place. Doesn’t matter what time of day or evening we go in this, we are always met with a very friendly welcome. Today at lunch was no different except we chatted to Balto and Pauline. Who looked after us very well. Great service. Very nice people. Food good and hot The whole package was enjoyable. Not once have we been to Hectors and been disappointed with food or service. Big thank you to you guys who make eating out a great experience. Even through Covid, hospitality shined way beyond the masks

I was surprised how good this place was. Nokesvile is a super small town and I think there only two restaurants in oldtown but Hector's feels like your eating somewhere else. Food was great, my burrito was delicious. I asked for extra salsa and they delivered. Staff was super nice too.
Stopped by Hector's on our way through Nokesville after reading some reviews. Hector's was delicious! Met Hector and what a nice guy who truly cares about his customers. So personable and friendly! The salsa there which he told us is his Mom's recipe, is the best salsa I've ever eaten, and Im very picky about salsa. When we left, the place was packed and this was a Wednesday night. I watched Hector go around and talk to every table. Top notch, the whole place, including Hector, hands down!
We have been here and ordered to-go a few times now for breakfast and dinner. Their flavors are amazing. I wish their guac was a little fresher tasting but I have loved the main component of everything I have tried there so far.
It was a busy Saturday evening, but we had excellent service, food was good and plentiful. Margherita was so-so. Overall, good experience. Will go back
